Buyer beware! We purchased an engine from these guys and when it was installed it had zero oil pressure from the start. They tried blaming the shop that I had install it and made them jump through hoops but finally made decision to get it removed and sent back. They didn’t send them another so I had to wait for them to find the issue with it and send it back again! It took a total of 5 weeks to get it back to me! While still under warranty (less than the year and mileage) it started to make noise. They again tried blaming the shop that put it in and then tried blaming me took another four weeks of downtime total and was not resolved they didn’t honour the warranty and I have an engine that is garbage! STAY CLEAR of this company!

Blew my engine driving across Canada and Jae saved the day. Not only did he provide me with excellent service he also offered me some huge discounts that no one in Canada can compare to. He was quick to build me a long block for my 2016 F150 and also provided 2 new turbos for it, with 2 day shipping to where my poor truck broke down in Ontario. I talked to all the providers across Canada and their lead times were 4-6 weeks. Thanks to Winnipeg Engine and Transmission, we will be fixed and on the road in less than a week. Thanks Jae your amazing and a life saver!!!!!! I highly recommend your business to anyone in search for a new engine.

Here's the thing, you have to follow the DIRECTIONS that they tell you on installation or you just bout a boat anchor!! Jay was a beauti to deal with! Shipped it out to Stony Plain to Al's Mechanical, Al swapped the motors followed the Directions on how Winnipeg wanted it put in and SURPRISE, it runs flawlessly. Shipped my core back and got my money back on my card for the core. I'll most definitely buy my next 3.5 Eco from them.

Update: had a machine shop look into the failure and it was found the crank was ground incorrectly which was the direct cause of the crank failure. Still Winnipeg Engines will not speak to us about warranty, not even to look at the proof we have. Did not care whatsoever, they completely washed their hands of everything. I would happily share more pics & details to anyone that wants to see how bad the workmanship is from Winnipeg Engines.

Bought a 6.7l diesel engine from Winnipeg Engines and the crank broke directly behind timing cover (low stress point). Called Winnipeg Engines and without even looking into it they declined any warranty. They did not have any interest in pictures or details, just declined warranty. We were told it was 'overpowered' (Cummins cranks are not easily broken and this was in a 5500 Ram that was empty at the time of the failure). We suspected the reman engine had been in a front end collision that damaged the crank as there was a dent in the face that likely weakened the crank (we have asked a few other engine rebuilders that agreed). Needless to say, we will never purchase from them again.

Everything went smooth, until I noticed oil on the ground 5 months later. It seems my rear seal is leaking...great. Also some leaking from somewhere above the Oil Cooler. Out of any warranty, just going to put up with it I guess. 6.2 Ford gas. Engine runs fine otherwise.
