Favorite Bread and Roll Mix

This would be a Five star review if only you put the yeast at the top of the package or at the least indicate that it’s at the bottom which is much more difficult to open. Please ask the manufacturer to pack the yeast at the top of bag . It would be so much easier for mobility challenged persons , saving on washing a second bowl and cleaning up spilled flour . The mix makes great bread and I will buy it again and hopefully won’t have to make a mess to access the yeast .

When recently visiting Corner Brook NFLD, I found your bread and roll mix in a local grocer. I bought 4 pkg of it. Today I made the first of the packages and after reading the directions on the package over a couple of times, I decided to put my amateur bread making skills to work.
First of all I was unable to find the yeast packets until I had to dump the whole bag into a bowl first, and they appeared.
Next after looking at instruction #1, it appeared to me that I was to add 3 times 1/4 cup of warm water to a bowl and sprinkle the yeast over it. I neglected to consider the (800 ml). Big mistake, the bag actually says 31/4 cups of warm water, NOT 3 TIMES A 1/4 CUP.
By the time I was mixing the flour mix into the yeast, I quickly figured out I didn't have enough liquid to properly mix the dry ingredients. Then I quickly added another 2 & 3/4 cups of water which made quite a lumpy dough.
I then followed the rest of the instructions very carefully and presently the dough is going through the first rise ..... In the end we'll see if I get anything even similar to a loaf of homemade bread.
So, for all other non-bread makers like myself..... if you buy this product and make it. #1 in the instructions is 3 1/4 cups of warm water, NOT 3 times a quarter cup.
