Terrible communication if you can actually get a hold of anyone. Rude staff and they lost 2 of our chicken crates but said it was not their problem. Meat cutting was pretty good just seems they could use some better management.

We've been bringing our chickens there for over 10 years and are very happy with their service. Once a mistake was made (they bagged them instead of cryovacing them) but they corrected it immediately. The staff is always willing to answer our questions both on the phone and in person. We generally bring our birds there for 7 am and return between 3 and 5 pm to pick them up. No complaints whatsoever.

The site is horrific, the animals are mistreated, and the staff are rude. It took over 45 minutes for staff to respond to my request, which was to pick up fourteen birds they were supposed to process. They took so long to get to my birds that two died. Still, I was asked to pay $60, or $5 per bird for processing for the remaining twelve. You can almost buy one for that.

On top of that, one of their employees admitted to running over the expensive cage we had used to bring in our birds, but the owner refused to pay for it. She said we should have taken it away. Were we supposed to let our birds loose in their lot and take the cage? We don't have our birds, and we have put in a claim at small claims court for our cage and chickens. I was insulted and laughed at over the phone; we will never go back.

We have had two good experiences with them, and they were quite friendly. We followed their instructions and dropped off our chickens the evening before butchering, transferring them to the cages they provide as instructed, and then picked up the finished birds the next day after 5, which were properly stored. We plan on getting our birds butchered again this year - we're happy that there is a butcher in Manitoba that will do smaller orders for us.

We dropped off our birds in a yard full of mud. This was very unpleasant and should be corrected to be more professional. The cages that we loaded our birds into were muddy and very dirty, again, this could be corrected by pressure washing them after each use. The staff were friendly but the conditions of the facility were not very good. We will probable process our own in the future.
