I own a 2025 Corolla and wanted to install my license plate on the tow hook, so I ordered a plate mount online. Unfortunately, the seller sent me the wrong threaded mount, and after extensive searching I discovered that no proper mount currently exists for the 2025 Corolla.

I contacted several machine shops in both Victoria and Vancouver, but none were willing to take on the small job. Many also mentioned they didn’t have the right threading tool. A few even suggested alternatives such as welding a bracket onto the original tow bar, but I didn’t want to modify or damage the factory fitting. After weeks of frustration, I was ready to give up.

Then, through a friend, I found Viala Technologies. They custom-made the proper threading tool, cut the correct thread, and even reduced the mount’s thickness at no extra charge. The work was completed quickly, professionally, and for less than an hour’s labor rate.

After a month of searching for solutions, Viala Technologies finally delivered exactly what I needed. I couldn’t be happier with their service and highly recommend them.

I have worked with Mike Viala professionally since 2018. He has a well-developed skill set in both electrical and mechanical engineering. The first project we worked together on was to develop a sophisticated calibration system for the calibration of highly sensitive sensors.
