I was with a group of ladies I knew, and we had such an enjoyable experience. Cassandra was a WONDERFUL guide – she shared lots of knowledge and extra bits told in between spots and bites. At each stop she told us a bit about the place, its ownership and other things we could try when we return.

At each stop we had a snapshot of one of their top food items. Richmond is known for its dumplings so of course this tour featured those. Everything was close enough together that the walking was not at all difficult.

I speak English only, so one thing for sure that made this guided adventure worthwhile is that in Richmond most signs and menus are not in English. Having a guide with relationships at each place and the ability to relay each stop's stories with us in English made the experience so much richer than it would have been solo.

Highly recommended.

We will be sure to tell our friends about the experience and I hope to do it again and bring some foodie friends.

If you love dumplings and discovering hidden gems, you’ll love Richmond's Dumpling Trail Tour (by VFT). Our gracious and knowledgeable host, Cassandra, kicked-off the tour with the most delicious Chinese buns and vegetarian gyoza imaginable. Afterwards, we took a short walk (a chance to work off a few carbs) to several nearby restaurants while Cassandra shared stories of the area. We were warmly greeted at each restaurant and, best of all, Cassandra described every dish, demystifying any unfamiliar offerings.

Navigating Richmond’s restaurant scene and Public Market can be daunting but now I know where to bring visiting friends. Our food-loving group had a fabulous time! It was worth every calorie!

My Foodie Tour was amazing! I have gone twice now, once in the summer and once in the winter. They were both so different! It was like I had done 2 different tours! I loved Oyama Meats, Benton Brothers cheese, the fresh basked doughnuts, also the cherries & ambrosia apples! The breakfast at Edible Canada was amazing as well! It was a hash with boar bacon, so delicious! I also can't forget about the Granville Island tea company iced tea(summer)/chai(winter). I would definitely go again. For anyone who is visiting as well it would be a fabulous tour.

Gaetane was a lovely guide for our visit to the Comox Valley. As she used to be a chef, she is very knowledgeable about all things culinary! Even though it was pouring with rain, we had a great experience, exploring and tasting in the Comox Valley. If this is your first time to this part of Vancouver Island, I'd highly recommend a day with Gaetane.

My husband and I did the gastown tasting tour and loved it! It was bought as a gift for us. We really enjoyed the unique stops and delicious food. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and very accomodating. He went above and beyond to make sure we had what we wanted. I was able to have several delicious non-alcoholic drinks which was great. We were so full at the end of the night, and happy we got to meet new people, learn more about Gastown and visit really special places we've never noticed before. The food, drinks and flavours were amazing. Our guide suggested other places for us to continue our night out, and helped the other guests get a taxi. Can't wait for another tour!

We did the Gastown tasting tour for a bachelorette. We started at Rogue then to Nubu, Salt Tasting Room and finished at the Irish Heather. Our tour guide was very friendly and sociable, she did a good job of giving us some history and information about the places/food/drinks but also let us socialize with each other which was really nice for the occasion. It just felt like a bunch of friends checking out new places, vs. a strictly guided tour which worked great for us. I think we spent about 45 minutes at each place give or take which was a good amount of time. Each restaurant served a different drink (beer, sangria, wine and cocktail), we didn't realize that there was no non alcoholic options included, you would just have to order a water pretty much. So if you're only into beer or wine etc, its probably not the best. Our last stop for cocktails was a old fashioned and was extremely stiff, so most of us didn't even drink them. Other than that it was a fun night and a unique experience. Great way to discover new places.

I am planning a trip to Vancouver and just booked with VANCOUVER FOOD TOURS. The booking process was SO EASY. I had questions after booking and emailed the company. They got back to be SUPER FAST and were more than accommodating. I am excited to go on the tour and will review afterwards, but wanted to give a 5 Star Rating for their booking processes. So important when planning a trip.

Went on a private food tour of Gastown with Carlos and he was not only incredibly informative but genuinely passionate about the food he was showcasing. Carlos is also a bad ass and one hell of a food ninja.
