We hired Uniquehouse as part of a full kitchen connecting hall and powder room renovation to remove our old existing tile floors and replace them. After talking to a number of tiling professionals we found ourselves going back to Mark and Kate as our benchmark standard. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were obvious from the first time we met them. This was a large project for us and we put our faith in them and have been very pleased.

Mark is a consummate craftsman, the work is exceptional, the professionalism fantastic, Mark’s thoughtfulness and attention to the smallest details are outstanding, and his knowledge of how to construct something to make it last is wonderful. We are thrilled with the end result, would have them back to do another project for us in a heartbeat.

Mark's work was of the highest quality and very good value for money. We also took his great advice on our choice of backsplash tiles and changed them. It looks absolutely fabulous. He was flexible with dates and always polite friendly and professional. If you need tiling, you cannot go wrong by using Unique house. We will certainly be using him again when we do our bathroom! great job!!

Mark and Kate are very nice people and it is a pleasure working with them. We are very happy to have hired them to do our project, which was tiles for two bathrooms. I was going to do this myself because I thought that it was an easy job but after seeing their work I realized that I could not have matched their standard and professionalism. This is a job that needs to be done right so they there aren’t any problems in the future. I am very happy with the work and the advice that they have been able to offer me with other things. Let me first begin by saying that I've gone through several renovations in my lifetime. What Mark and Kate were able to do was nothing short of incredible. Initially, I wanted to do very minor things around the house, but after meeting Mark, I realized how amazingly talented he is and I've yet to see anyone as hard working as him. He'd always show up on time (or earlier) and was focused the entire time on all of the things that were important to me, creating a beautifully renovated space, while also ensuring it's safe for my little daughter. Mark is very detailed in his approach and is able to see details that are not visible to 99% of people out there. He's also very honest and explained his process every step along the way to ensure that I was on board and aware. He had very clear goals each day and week and always set out to accomplish it.

In the end, there were upgrades made to my bedroom, bathroom, basement, stairs, living room, kitchen and front porch. I never realized that after living here for nearly 10 years, that I could sit in a home that feels brand new and 200% better than it ever did before. I'm not kidding at all when I say that Mark was able to create my dream home. I'm so thankful to him and Kate for going above and beyond. Also, it helped that my daughter absolutely fell in love with how nice and friendly Mark and Kate are!
