This review is long overdue! I visited this location after being referred by Janome as an authorized service centre. Thinking I would have to leave my machine for a week or two to be serviced, I was pleasantly surprised that the sales lady was able to troubleshoot and rectify the issue right on the spot, saving me downtime. I am so very appreciative of the expertise and quality of the service I received. I most definitely recommend this shop to anyone seeking quality customer support. Thanks!

Shirley is amazing! Gave me the best price on my Janome 2000d serger and a. Free class on it and other great perks too! I had been given a Black Friday price elsewhere but I wasn’t feeling good about the warrant they gave me. So I called Shirley ( I’d been in her store many times) and she made me feel so much better. I trust her and would buy any Janome machine from her. Don’t hesitate!

It’s a nice store but I’ve been pretty disappointed with their selection. There isn’t much in the way of fashion fabrics, or knits. It’s mainly quilting cottons, which you can find at any quilting store. They also don’t carry sewing patterns. They aren’t an “ultimate” sewing centre.

The Ultimate Sewing Centre has been absolutely wonderful. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The classes are informative and the instructors are patient, creative and so willing to help. Shirley really stands behind her products and offers an excellent machine repair service as well. Advice and support are always only a telephone call away - Thanks so much to everyone for expanding my sewing skills and growing my enjoyment of all sewing crafts.

We took my serger into this establishment to be serviced. Upon arrival, we were quoted $180 (almost double for a quote given from another establishment, but went here for convenience on the way to work) for the base service fee and was told that if there were any other charges we would be contacted. No contact was made until I received a message stating that it was ready to be picked up, this message didn't even include the work that was done on it. When we had gone to go and pick up, under the assumption of the information given above, we were told the fee was $250!!! The blade was replaced and the timing adjusted... how!? No communication made, full trust in them tending to my inherited grandmother's serger. Will not be returning.

I just finished a three day English Paper Piecing Course at Ultimate. The class was excellent. I learned a lot from Sharon the teacher. Sharon answered all my questions and made the experience fun. I will definitely go back again for more classes.
What a wonderful store. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. If you go you will be inspired.

Very pleased with the sales and customer service at this shop. I felt valued as a customer, and the whole transaction from phone call to visit was pleasant, friendly, warm, professional and the staff were genuinely excited for me to enjoy my new beautiful machine. Fabric selection was very nice - beautiful batiks, prints, cork, and lots more. Very happy with the pricing for my new machine. Thanks folks - see you again soon.
