I first reached out to UHI last year with plans to add a small machine to my fleet. It took me a while to line it up as I didn’t get many opportunities to get to Vancouver. During this time Adrian answered every question I threw at him.
This year I finally found the time and got to the branch. Alex and Adrian were very accommodating and easy to work with. I purchased a 1.2 mini ex and haven’t been disappointed. The selection of attachments were excellent and allowed me to get tools to fit more specifically to the environment it will be used it.
I went in to the office to finalize the paperwork, quick and easy, to come out and find that Harold (I can’t remember if that’s correct, forgive me if I’m wrong) had loaded and secured the machine on my trailer and put all the attachments on a pallet for me.
The machine itself is surprisingly powerful for its size and I can’t fault the price point.
I will be back to get a loader 👍

Ask Adrien if he had a PDF of the manual for the 100EDT Jackhammer I bought as I didn't have one. He didn't have a digital copy so scanned the entire manual and sent it to me within an hour of enquiring!

Picked up my new Lonking CDM6035 from UHI in Port Coquitlam. The entire purchase process was great, thank you Alex, Adrian and Harold for all your help. First impressions are that there is nothing mini about this excavator. It is a compact excavator but it is beefy! It appears to be very well built with no details missed. It is powerful yet quiet, compact but a large sturdy stance, with nice smooth hydraulics at all speeds. I was expecting it to be more flimsy but looking out the window the boom is sturdy and a big chunk of steel. Everything seems to be very beefy and strong on the boom, stick and tracks. The operator cab is spacious and comfortable with great views out every angle. My wife and I are super happy with our purchase and expect this machine to exceed our expectations as we progress on our projects. Thank you!

Great customer service, surprisingly capable equipment, amazing value.

We settled on a U25TK2 after demo’ing equivalent offerings from Bobcat, Kubota and Ditch Witch.
Decided to take a gamble on ordering the first TK2 to show up in BC after demo’ing the original version. We’re happy with its performance. It might not be quite as polished as the bigger brand’s offerings but it’s also half the price. We bought the skid steer and trailer and still came in 10,000 below our next option.

I am a professional trail builder and contractor, being a fan of machines like Takeuchi, I was at first really sceptical about a full Chinese built excavator. But after meeting the guys at POCO dealership, I decided to give it a go.
I bought a mini excavator UME18 in November 2023, and to be honest at half price of everyone else, I couldn’t expect too much… fool I was!
After 120h straight, into the wilderness with morning temps of -2° for a month straight, the little “princess” pulled it thru remarkably with only minor set backs… few bolts a bit loose and some awkward at first, side controls (hard to teach new habits …).
27000$ with 3 years warranty, a bucket load of attachments, a thumb and quick release, which you don’t have to run with the safety pin on… it’s a no brainer for me, and I am now looking for their big Berta (the 8T)
Just did my full filters service myself, and not even the tiniest shrapnel anywhere!

Picked up a UME12P the other week. Excellent customer service and very easy to deal with from the beginning. Adrian is very professional, personable a definitely knows the equipment and takes pride in what he does. As for the machine it seems great. Have moved some dirt around the yard and removed some brush and logs. Wish I had more time to use the machine.

Customer service is outstanding and they are always available for questions. If you need service parts or extra attachments, they order right away and ship to you. These machines have performed great for me and at this value it’s a bonus. I was skeptical like everyone else in the beginning, but have been very happy with the jobs that can be performed with them. Thank you Alex, Adrian and Harold from BC branch for all your efforts and dependability. It really does go the distance, when you have great customer service to back it up!

*Update*
It’s been one year since my last review. The machines I have purchased are still running strong and haven’t missed a beat. Alex has moved on but the guy who has stepped up in his place which is some big shoes to fill, Yev has been great to deal with and the service is still exceptional. I had the muffle bracket break on my UME 28, which was the original style and they have since redesigned with stronger brackets after only having one other issue with them across Canada. It broke on me Thursday morning. Yev and Harold had one shipped out and delivered to me on Vancouver Island Friday morning, less than 24 hrs!! Top notch service and customer care! Thank you guys for the continued commitment to your customers!

We received our UWL816 the other day and putting some hours on it now. So far it has been great! Well designed and lots of features at an incredible price. Adrian and the UHI BC team were awesome to deal with, lots of communication on the status of delivery and when I did have a small issue on the machine, they were out to my farm in days with no questions asked to address. Would definitely recommend the machine and UHI BC.
