Kelly, in her quiet reserved way, is beyond helpful in going the extra mile for her customers. Her shop is full of anything you would want for your sewing, quilting and knitting needs. If she doesn't have it....she will try her best to get the item for you from her suppliers. Stop in...you will greatly enjoy your visit!

I love visiting Kelly and her crew in Almonte. The store is beautifully curated and between the quilting supplies and amazing yarn selection you would be hard pressed to not come away with a new treasure for your latest project.

Textile Traditions is a gem of a sewing shop. Kelly has been an amazing resource as I started to learn the basic of quilting. Any questions that I’ve had about materials or stock have been answered very quickly, even in the trying times of the pandemic. I appreciate Kelly’s professionalism and her dedication to her customers.

The premises can easily accommodate 3 clients while fully respecting the health guidelines. However the owner will only allow one client at a time. When you are finally granted permission to enter, you are literally restricted to a tiny area at the door (approximately 3' x 6'), to view the very limited amount of fabric.

So if you enjoy driving to Almonte, only to have to stand outside in the sweltering heat and being treated like a leper by someone who wants your money, go right ahead. I'd much rather driver to other stores who make your feel welcomed, such as the fabric stores in Carp and Arnprior, who also have a much wider selection.
