Customer service should be just as important to the business as it is to the customer my husband & I recently went into Tantec in Ponoka to ask questions regarding our phones they are a Telus dealer & Telus is our cell phone provider we are seniors we would appreciate information explained to us respectfully we don’t like being talked down too just because we are seniors we asked the young man @ the counter a couple of questions & he kept repeating in a dismissive tone well don’t you know!! Ok no we don’t know is why we are here patronage your business we were very unhappy with our recent experience to Tantec we will be using another Telus dealer for any future questions we have regarding our cell phones TH

One of the worst experiences here with a specific store employee who didn't have any knowledge about the product I was looking for, lied about not having it (I found it in the store) and then lied again thinking I would just not press the matter further. Ended up selling me the WRONG product anyway and returning it the SAME man literally punished me and made the return one of the most horrendous experiences I could have imagined. There is one guy there that is really awesome though!!

Entered the store to get an end for a charger. The young lady tried hard to sell me a whole new charger for $50 when all I needed was a $3 end for the charge cord. Apparently, electronics stores don't deal with folks who can repair rather than replace.

I dropped my computer off to a young man and went over the upgrades that I was looking at having done. I left the parts that I already purchased. The CSR was really positive and enthusiastic about getting the work done for me.

A few days later, the owner called me to pick up my PC stating that: "we only do basic upgrades for the elderly, that give us a high return, your work isn't worth it for us". I picked up my computer and left without issue. They weren't rude at all, but I was really disappointed and won't be running to back anytime soon.

Always great Christmas unique idea's 2 years in a row I shop here. Also before ordering things online we first check with Tantec to see if they have the product and their opinion of the product. Shop local first but also know these guys give you such great information and just a phone call or FB message away. I can see why they are a busy store, Great Service !!
