These guys saved my Whistler trip. First Air Canada smashed my bike bag destroying front rim. The guys at workshop found a new wheel and got me going within half a day. Much appreciated. Then dropper post cable broke. They changed it the next morning. Cannot thank them enough. Great bike mechanics and focused on finding solutions. Thanks again

We rented bikes a few times in Whistler during our trip but we had by far the best customer service experience from Summit. Extremely caring, knowledge and helpful staff especially Tyler and Phoebe who helped us out.

Been in to Summit Sports a couple of times over the last couple of days in order to arrange ski equipment. Have dealt with a few of the staff who were great, but Henry (from Tasmania ) has gone above and beyond. So helpful, when sorting all gear, but particularly fitting me with ski boots ( not easy!). Knows his stuff and can’t do enough for you. Would definitely recommend Summit to any visitor because of him.

We had a great experience with Summit. We rented demo skis and boots for 12 days. There was a 20% discount for booking online at epic mountain rentals, but it kept failing on checkout - so the staff at Summit matched the price for us. They were really friendly, particularly Henry, Lachie and Emma. Thanks for looking after us!

If this is your first time in Whistler, you may have to wander around just a little bit to find Summit Sport. They are located in a basement which means you will have to carry your rental bike/equipment up and down two flights of stairs. Ended up booking ahead online and paying roughly $275 all in for gear, the bike and a lift pass for a day. If you want a good experience with Summit Sport, talk with Ross. He is knowledgeable, friendly and you can tell he cares about how well he does his job. I can’t say the same for his fellow employees. This is why I am rating only 3 stars. Other employees (specifically the ones upstairs) are rude and not helpful what so ever. After completing our first run we decided to bring the bikes back to the shop to have the seats raised a little bit. The man upstairs questioned our choice by saying “most people ride low so you don’t need an adjustment” we brought our bikes downstairs anyways where we were helped by a different employee who understood that everyone has a different preference for seat height. This downstairs employee also let us know that there are “tool kit” locations at the top of the mountain as well as in the village. If the upstairs man would have told us that we could have avoided bringing our bikes up and down and rather had more time on the runs. In general, we would rent from this company again. The bikes were brand new to this year and we felt safe in the equipment. My only complaint is the rude workers upstairs. Ignore them and go downstairs to get real service. Ask for Ross!

Rented skis and boots from Summit Sport in Whistler, and the experience was excellent! All the equipment was brand new—I literally got brand-new skis and boots, which was such a treat. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure everything fit perfectly. Their service made the process smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend Summit Sport for top-quality gear and outstanding customer service!

Stopped by to get some tire problems sorted out expecting to be doing the work myself after paying a premium for some parts. My experience was quite the opposite. Tom and a couple other mechanics in the back were super friendly and helpful, they were happy to help me out on the spot even considering the busy nature of a bike shop at the bottom of the mountain. Tom taped my rim for me right away and got me back on the trails. Definitely going to be my go-to shop in Whistler!

We booked and paid far in advance online. When we got there they were not expecting us. The bikes were not ready so we lost a bit of time. They also require you to carry your bike up and down two storeys of a concrete outdoor staircase to take the bikes from their shop. This was absurd to us but thankfully we’re in good shape and can handle it - but what about people that can’t? The bikes are of great quality though and although we got bounced around 4 different people to get service, each person was kind and seemed genuine! But the company expecting their clients to carry the bikes up and down two storeys’ worth of concrete stairs is simply bad customer service/experience.
