Was asked to leave not even 3 minutes after entering with my dogs. The store claims to be pet friendly but apparently not. It was not busy, perhaps 3-5 people in the store, and I was there to buy water. My dogs were excited but that is the benefit of pet friendly stores, you can work on over excitement and overstimulation…if employees have an ounce of patience.

I will not shop here anymore. Despite the mark up in prices as it’s a locally owned business that hires locals, we bought what we could here. This negative and unnecessary interaction with your employee resulted in the loss of another customer to ridiculous prices and poor customer service. Don’t really want to support Amazon type monopolies but wow what can you do sometimes…good luck and best regards.

Wow, for such a small store it is packed with hidden treasures and necessities. We are from out of province and while we have only 1 home hardware in our city it is significantly smaller and less pleasant to be in. Well done Strathmore for having amazing people and amazing people.

Fantastic service....one of the few places that had portable air conditioners in stock and a great price. As soon as we walked in a lady asked what we were looking for pointed us in the right direction. A gentleman offered to help us load the unit onto a cart right of way and took it right up to the till for us. Quick through the till and before we headed out the door a very nice young gentleman offered to help us take it out. He took it right to our vehicle and loaded it for us. Best service we've had in a long time. Will definitely be back to this store and strongly recommend others to shop at this store!!! All the staff were great and very friendly.

Always helpful and kind. Over the many years, these people have helped me decorate my sons nursery, my daughters bedroom (several times), they sharpen my skates every year, and I always love browsing the decor items.
