Stopped in quickly today for circular needles and was SO impressed with the beautiful stock in store! Inspired to start a sewing project soon. Staff member was very kind. She mentioned they have classes as well as drop in times you can use a sewing machine. Feels great to support a local hub too. 🙂

Stephanie and her wonderful store has provided gorgeous, tempting, fabric goodies, projects, classes, and supplies for years. This is indeed a cute little store with a great selection of fabrics and accessories. I purchased a top of the line Bernina sewing machine a year ago and wanted to have it serviced. I called and made arrangements to take it in on July 26. That was a $79 ferry ride. I asked if someone else could pick it up the next week and the lady said that would be fine and would give the owner plenty of time to service it.

I called back the next week to arrange for the pick up and the next lady didn’t know where my machine was. She said she would ask the owner and call me back. She never called back.

I waited another week and called again and this lady said the machine was sitting there but she didn’t know if it had been serviced because the owner was at a quilt show. She said she would call me back and didn’t.

I left three messages that were never returned so I made arrangements for my niece to go over and pick it up, another $65 ferry. The owner was there and was short and rude to her. Did not apologize and the machine had not been serviced.

This a a wonderful little quilt store on the North Shore. Lots of lovely fabrics and a great and friendly staff. It has a Bernina dealership so you can pop in to see the latest machines and cool accessories. The offer a variety of fun classes too for all ages. It is all win, win!
