I had a fantastic experience buying my Kubota BX23S-1 from Stewart’s Equipment in Stayner. The model I wanted is a strong seller, so they went the extra mile and arranged a dealer trade to get it for me quickly. The whole process was smooth and had that great small-town feel — friendly, honest, and no pressure. Peter Weel was amazing to deal with — knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely focused on making sure I got the right machine. Delivery was on time and everything arrived perfectly set up. The team at Kubota in Stayner continue to impress me with each visit. Breakdowns happen; but it's the team at Kubota who I trust to get me back up and running as soon as possible.

This is twice now my commercial snow business has brought a broken part in, and have walked out within a few hours with what is needed to keep working.

Kudos to the parts and service teams for always going the extra mile.

Bought a L2501 loader backhoe (2019) the machine is great. I was not told when the backhoe is off I should have a counter weight almost rolled it over going down a hill. I was told by the salesman I was getting a top link for the rear and a draw bar, still waiting for them. I feel like once they have your money they forget who you are. Never had a follow-up call to see how it was performing. When you spend that much money you would expect a little service in return. I am looking to buy a mini excavator and I have been hearing the best place to buy a Kubota is Kubota North, I think I will try there in the future.

Shop around if getting repairs done! I purchased a used unit privately and called them for an estimate on a leak in the transmission. They made it seem like a huge deal and estimated it at a minimum of $8-10k. One of the parts they said was over $700. I then called Kubota North, and they gave me a max price of $4500 unless they found anything else that needed repairs. They fixed it in under 2 weeks for $4200. The part that Stewart's said was $700 cost a fraction of that from Kubota North.
Salesperson was very friendly, I just don't know where they get their pricing from if another dealer can provide same repair for less than half the cost.

Thoroughly enjoyed my purchasing experience. I bought a Kubota L6060 with a front snow blower and an RTV 1100C from the salesman Steve Corless who was knowledgeable and fair on pricing. Very friendly staff. I plan on doing service work with them as well as future purchases.

It's hard to tell whether the new ownership doesn't want small machine service business anymore or if they're testing the limits of pricing in this market. Either way, annual maintenance - essentially oil and filters - on my Kubota B1700 has considerably more than doubled in cost since it was last performed. In the past, I had this work done by pros mainly to support a local business. But if this tractor is now going to be the most expensive-to-maintain vehicle we own, it's time to start doing the work myself.
