Have to say I'm disappointed with the level of service you get here. It used to be sobeys, Safeway, that gave the best grocery shopping experience. Friendly people, and helpful attitudes!

Not so much anymore.... went into the bakery at 6 pm, sign on the bakery counter says it closes at 7pm, prominently displayed. I wasn't after anything special or customized... all I was after were 2 donuts that happened to be in the bakery display case behind glass. No one working at the bakery counter ever came out to help. I stood there a few minutes waiting for someone, then flagged down another employee who happened to be about 5 feet away from the bakery, organizing some tomatoes. He wandered off to find someone to help me and came back about a minute later with a young lady who asked me what I needed help with. I explained what I was after, "may I please have the 2 donuts in the display case?"

The Response.... "I can't do that. I'm not trained for it. "

I'm all for unions usually... however, if you're going to segregate your grocery store workers by department, and there are not enough employees... it's time to give up the unnecessary refusal to provide service to people based on the department you were hired to work in.

It's a grocery store in a small town... not an engineering firm. Come on.

Just had the pleasure of going through Kayden's till and what a pleasure! He is such a friendly happy young man. Your parents should be so proud. We need more young people like you!! Customer service was outstanding, talked to me and actually listened to the answer and responded, your help to the elderly lady before me was very patient, and kind. Great job!

Fresh stuff is fine but their produce is often quite... old... go to the berries for example and count how many containers have mold in them. Doesn't matter when you go, you will find mold aplenty.
