I always look forward to seeing familiar happy faces everytime we shop here. Great customer service everytime! I am impressed with the improvements they've made and enjoy small chats with the staff, they really make a small town feel like home!

I can sometimes find bargains in here. The meat is usually more than in Selkirk, but comparative to co-op prices, in Gimli. They have bacon sales, and cheese sales pretty regularly. And, they do have online shopping, where you can get your groceries delivered, I believe on Monday and Thursday. The online does need a bit of an update, and they may run out of items.

Terrible customer service. Mikayla was extremely rude and caught me off guard when trying to pay for my groceries through the express lane. No idea how she got hired to work up front and talk to people as she clearly lacks social skills.

Kudos to the young cashier working the afternoon of January 3rd. I was looking for gluten free bread and had checked the Health Food Aisle and the bakery. As a senior, walking to the far end of the store again, was not going to happen. She was very kind and brought me what I had been looking for.

Well, it's a Sobeys. The 3 main ones I visit regularly in Winnipeg are beautiful but also all on the newer side so not all fair comparison, but alas, they are what I have to compare to and they are 5-star. This store is very old and it shows its age. The bathroom is terrible. Never updated and only for one person. The water sprays everywhere and the paper towel on the side of the sink is always wet. Rather gross. Please at least update the faucet at the very least.

For some reason they are still using the covid-style checkout line here where everything is cordoned off and a long line forms at one end and only one person enters at a time as each checkout becomes ready. A little strange and didn't help speed things along.
