He made sure I felt safe and confident by thoroughly explaining all the safety protocols and closely supervising me while using the machinery. His attention to detail is truly next level.

Beyond the hands-on learning, William shared fascinating insights about wood grain, how materials bend and expand, and the industry as a whole. We recently attended a beginner woodworking course at Shop Time Studios in Burlington Ontario, and it was an incredible experience! The owner, Will, was exceptionally friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. His woodworking knowledge and experience was impressive, and he shared it in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand.

The class had a fun and relaxed atmosphere, yet safety was always a priority, which gave me confidence as we worked with various tools. I also appreciated the instructor's patience—he took the time to answer all our questions and helped us troubleshoot or with advice when needed.

My team attended a team-building event hosted by Shop Time Studios where we all made our own custom charcuterie board. We were all also provided with a custom made tin of wood finish and protectant to keep our board looking like new. A very nice touch! Each member of my team was thrilled with their creation and let me know how much they enjoyed the event. I could tell by the smiles on their faces the event was a hit. William and his team put on a great event, explained each step very clearly, allowed everyone to try new skills with non-power and power tools and provided a safe working environment. Several team members commented that they would like to have another event at Shop Time Studios in the future. Thanks for hosting our event William. I had the pleasure of taking William's Introduction to Woodworking course earlier this year. So happy I did and would highly recommend it for anyone that is looking to find a new skill or dust off an old one. The course gave me the confidence to complete 2 fantastic projects. William is an extremely knowledgeable, patient and great mentor. His explanations were detailed and he guided us through the woodshop with an expertise that allowed me to exceed my expectations for my projects. The woodshop itself is well set up and has such a spectacular range of equipment that he is always adding to.

My friends and I booked a private woodworking class with William and couldn't have asked for a better experience! He was very knowledgeable and offered many great suggestions for customization. The workshop is roomy, tidy, organized and well-equipped. There's even a lounge area to take a break during your projects. You can tell they really care about building a community here for the building community! Highly recommend for both those looking to book an event, and those looking to become a member!
