We purchased a CNC (Morbidelli N100 5x12) approximately 2 years ago. Hands down the best business investment we’ve ever made. No regrets that we didn’t go with Felder or Biesse. The training and included software had us up and running within a week once installation was completed. Darren (sales rep) was extremely knowledgeable which solidified our purchase. Parth is a master with the software and troubleshooting. He almost instantaneously comes to our aid when I reach out. Zero complaints. 5 stars!

Do not buy scm products, they used to be the flagship brand promoting quality products and fantastic customer support and service. None of that remains today. Unfortunately the quality of their machinery is average across the market, the customer support is almost non-existent. Service is an absolute joke, one of my customers had called me in to service their 2 year old 10' sliding table saw. Unfortunately they had an electrical surge that fried board in the hmi, the replacement board was not overly expensive, the wait time was to be expected because it's coming from Italy. Just to be sure I requested the customer to call in an SCM service tech. 3 weeks later 2 Mexican gentleman show up, and neither spoke English, they didn't have the proper tools ( small tool bag with screwdrivers and a plier set). They looked at the machine for 2 days and left. They didn't tell my customer anything. They didn't find the problem. So now my customer who has spent well over $750 000 in the past 5 years on scm equipment has a boat anchor of a table saw. So I went ahead and called the scm parts dept to order the control board and I was told of an scm service tech doesn't install the board that I will be SOL if there is an problems and no warranty would be applied to the new part. Since I have no faith in the scm techs anyway, I figured there service depth would be just as inept. Unfortunately what used to be an amazing brand is nothing more then a money hungry cash grab. If you are in the GTA area, do yourself a favor and buy from Taurus Craco who sell homag and many other brands, buy from CNC automation who are selling America made brands, they have fantastic service and parts plus they will help you fix a machine, not just request their service techs to work on it. I think that goes a long way when dealing with machinery. They back it no matter who works on it. I've included a picture of the burnt control board if anyone thinks this was false, if scm wants to get a hold of me, I can reiterate and prove my story.

Worst service department. No urgency, No response, No communication. They absolutely do not care that a production machine is down, money is being lost, and staff are being sent home. Biggest mistake our company has made in a long time was buying an SCM machine. Take this warning to heart and shop elsewhere!

Update, we chose to sell the machine at a loss. Cheaper than trying to deal with this company. Highly recommend Homag. Great machine excellent people to deal with.

no one showed up to install as it show in agreement
we have to become masters in machinery and install it
however the screen can not be programed and we using it manually for past 2.5 years they promised us 6 time to sent some one to program this garbage ....lies lies lies on top if lies

I have an 15 yr old edge bander from SCM
Called Kyla from the Toronto office who was more than helpful during the whole process.
She put me through to Alex, a technician from the Sates. He spent over an hr on video call to diagnose the problem. Arrangements made for a local technician to come to the shop. He was able to fix the problem.

No serious nor responsible sales representative at all!
I submit a form on SCM Canada official website to contact them to buy a FS41 ES planner. A lady called me and said she asked her colleague who is responsible to the district Richmond Hill and told me he will call me today. Two days passed, no sales person call me! why your SCM did not cherish sales leads to this extent!? So disappointed and planing to change to other brands!

Massive disappointment, I needed a computer for my CNC, service was very quick and then my "new" computer arrived, box looked crushed so I was a bit concerned, opened it up to find a second hand computer with parts hanging off, dirty and scratched up, at no point was I informed I would be receiving a used PC, I paid $900 with shipping, for a Dell optiplex 780 I can buy on Amazon for $125. Well I got a reply to my email to head of parts "if you don't like it you can have a refund" so tough luck basically , not even an apology thanks SCM for your outstanding service

Don't waste any time with SCM. We purchased a $500,000 material storage system and beam saw. Nothing has worked properly since being installed. Their software is the worst interface I've ever experienced. It doesn't even give you any information when there's an error. It just stops working. Oh, and don't expect any service after 11am EST. Only the team in Italy can resolve issues and they leave at 5pm in Italy. The North American staff can't fix a thing. Feel free to reach out to me if you want to hear more.
