The security guard followed me around and kept watching me. It made me feel intimidated and uncomfortable. I am an indigenous woman from this land and feel insulted that I was racially profiled I won't be shopping here again. He also followed us to our car and then came back and made a point of standing beside the car. He then went back inside and came back out and stood by a car one more time. As an indigenous person I deal with this all the time, I'm not exaggerating it was very racist.

The staff here are racist towards Indigenous people. If you are of colour - the staff are racist and discriminate. This is my hometown and being indigenous I am discriminated. The security person followed us down the aisles as if we were going to steal by racially profiling me and my family.
I am enraged of being treated like this and I will bring this matter to the right channels and bring the attention to the continuous issue.

Placed an order for curbside pickup, got the confirmation email & notification that it was being fulfilled. Arrived at the pickup time and was told the person who does the orders went home. No order.

Save on Foods generally is not good anywhere.
This one is Hope is no different: unbelievably pricey (even more expensive than other Save on Foods stores), frequently advertise items they don't have, not clean and staff frequently blocks aisles for training, stocking and just plain chatting. You're better off doing a shopping run in Chillwack, even with the price of gas you'll save and have a better experience with many choices.

I do love Saveon foods but the one in Hope B.C needs to consider their customers needs before businesses in town. I am having a hard time getting my brand of coffee. Folgers 30 cup pods and Western Family 30 cup pods. I have asked management and they said they will not be carrying them. They do however carry nabob, McDonalds, Starbucks brands, Tim Hortons. I have to drive 30 minutes away for the brand I enjoy. The prices in saveon are way to high. I really do think Hope B.C. needs some competition. Maybe a freshco would be nice.

I've been asking about a specific product for 6 months now and i keep getting the same answer from management.

Horrible produce. Most of it is bad quality or out right rotten. Not many products or enough selection.

The review claiming "racism" committed by the staff is quite questionable! People of all different cultures were apparent working in the store.

Myself and my girlfriend got the chicken wings from the deli. We were both ill for 3 or 4 days. Called the store on numerous occasions. Speaking to the manager who told us she’d look into it and head office would be in touch.they never did. Very disappointed considering the money we’ve spent in there over the years.
