We see stuck rings in the emergency department frequently, and I was recently tasked with removing three of them from a patient. When my patient told me one ring was over 100 years old, another made by her father at war, and that they hadn't been off in decades - I knew I had to reach for the Ring Rescue Kit. I'd only seen it used once before, as our department only got it a few months ago, so I took a few minutes to review the instructions. The quick start guide diagrams and online video made it seem easy, but I was still nervous using a new device for the first time. Thankfully, the Ring Rescue Compression Device shrunk the finger and allowed me to remove the most sentimental ring intact, without ring cutting, and without discomfort, in about 5 minutes. However, due to severe finger arthritis, the other two rings had to be cut, but the Ring Rescue Dolphin Ring Cutter made that a cinch too. All you have to do is slide the guide under the ring, press a button, and watch it cut through the ring automatically. It even has LEDs that display your progress. At first, we were both a little nervous about the cutter being close to her skin, but once it started we were both immediately relieved. The cuts were so clean I'm sure they'll be easily repaired. We were both delighted. Ring Rescue saved us time, effort, and definitely improved patient safety and satisfaction - for sure a practice changing and essential tool in any emergency department.

I am an Emergency Department Physician, and just cut several difficult stuck Titanium rings from a patient, with the Dolphin Ring Cutter and it worked great. I've used the Ring Rescue Compression Device for successful ring removal many times in the ER over the past few years, it's been a great tool and procedure to get rings off without cutting. But I was recently faced with a difficult case of several stuck Titanium rings all on one patient, and these rings could not be removed without ring cutting for various reasons. The Ring Rescue Kit was recently purchased by our Emergency Department, and the Dolphin Ring Cutter was able to cut these titanium rings without issue. Each ring was thick and complex and had to be cut twice (each ring cut into two halves). Having used the Dolphin for the first time here, it worked great for all these cuts, and I was also able to hand off the cutting process to one of our Paramedics, who used the Dolphin for the first time as well. The timing of all this was really good - having just gotten the Dolphin in the department, because this would have been a very problematic case to deal with otherwise. The manual can opener ring cutters we used to use are totally ineffective on thick Titanium rings, and there aren't really any other medical device options. Without the Dolphin, I probably would have had to resort to trying a Dremel on the finger, which is very time consuming and of course very risky on a finger. Great to see that Stuck Ring Removal finally has a comprehensive medical grade tool kit. No heat from the cutting, seems really safe, and definitely easy to use - basically just sit there and hold the trigger until the ring is cut, and then do it again.

We've had this unit for 2 years now, the local hospital even sends pts to us for ring removal. Fully swear by this - it works phenomenally. Other departments (and now the hospital) are following suit and getting their own. It cuts $12 rings and $650,000 rings - we swear by it.

Ring Rescue is amazing! My colleagues and I in Long Term Care have used it several times to successfully and safely remove rings of all different shapes and sizes. This device is easy to use, and most importantly leaves the ring in one piece! Everyone we have used this with has been very impressed with the device as well as grateful their ring did not need to be cut. We can’t recommend Ring Rescue enough!

Dear Pregnant People,
This is a reminder to remove your rings before it's too late. and if you're like me and neglect to remove them in time, call Ring Rescue Inc. immediately! I tried every trick on the internet (do not recommend- because I made it worse) and was about to head to emerge to have it cut off before learning about this company. The staff was incredible from my initial consult call to the final stage of removing the ring. They were easily accessible and they educated and encouraged me every step of the way. Using the Ring Rescue device and technology, Dr. Kevin Spencer and his expert assistant were able to successfully remove and save my wedding ring! I wish more people knew about this company. Thank you so much.

Three rings were stuck on my finger for several days and the swelling was not subsiding. After googling and trying some of the home remedies, I ended up going to two jewelry stores.
The first one offered to cut off the rings, but could not do so for a couple of hours. With time to kill, I fortunately went to Charm Diamond Center in Mic Mac Mall. Luckily, the clerk there recommended that I call the Dartmouth hospital because she had heard that there was a device that would enable my rings to be removed without cutting.
When I called DGH, it was confirmed that one of their doctors, Dr. Kevin Spencer is the inventor the "Ring Rescue" device. I was instructed to proceed to the Emergency Dept. where Dr. Spencer successfully removed the three rings.
Basically, the device he used was like a small blood pressure cuff that fit over my finger. The cuff was inflated and I elevated my hand for about 5 minutes. When my finger was compressed enough, some lubricant was applied and the rings removed.
It was totally painless and such a relief. My finger is fine and my rings (having great sentimental value...one a wedding band made by my late father) are intact.
Huge thanks to Dr. Spencer and the "Ring Rescue"!!!

A huge thank you to Ring Rescue and Dr. Spencer! I left my wedding rings on during pregnancy thinking I would be able to take them off at anytime. While one came off, one was still stuck for months afterwards. After months of trying every trick to get it off, my only solution was cutting it off, until I discovered Ring Rescue! After two rounds of compression my ring was off! It saved my ring because cutting it would have caused significant damage! This compression device is amazing, effective and painless. Thank you again!!

Thank you so much to Ring Rescue and Dr. Spencer!! My engagement ring was stuck on my finger and I am currently three months pregnant. I tried almost all the Google tricks, but the ring didn’t come out. Ring Rescue’s team and Dr. Spencer did a miracle and after two rounds of compression the Ring Rescue worked like a charm and the ring was saved. The whole process was easy and painless. Thanks again!
