I recently visited Rick Rack and had the absolute best experience. I’m new to sewing and was a little intimidated, however they answered all my questions, helped me find fabric suitable for my project and took the time to explain things. I really appreciated it and cannot wait to go back for future projects! They also had such a great variety of beautiful fabrics!

Rick Rack Textiles is a great local shop to support. They have beautiful fabrics of all sorts, many tools, and knowledgeable staff to help you along your sewing journey. A friend of mine also mentioned that they offer sewing classes as well. I love what they have on offer!

So grateful to the team at Rick Rack for their patience! I was down with a flu and ordered a bunch of stuff for delivery while I was stuck at home! They were so helpful despite me putting down the wrong delivery address and sending the wrong files to be printed AND not ordering enough pages for my copies!! I was a total mess in my delirium and they were fantastic!
The product was delivered right to my door, the fabric was so beautiful, the notions were packaged all together and the patterns were beautifully folded and wrapped with paper! It was such a treat!

Stopped in here while I was visiting Calgary, what a gem! So many beautiful prints and options to choose from, and the staff were super kind and helpful. All the fabric is also really nicely labeled for pricing and content etc.

What an amazing place! I like my sewing patterns to be printed on "big" (A0) paper, not at home on Letter-sized paper, and Rick Rack have become my go-to store for printing pdf patterns. It's easy to load up and select which layers (sizes) you want printed. It's very fast to be printed (even if you request 7 patterns at once!) and they always get it right, even when they can't do what I requested. For example I requested certain layers but no layers were available on the pattern, so they printed the whole lot. And one pattern came in one long file, so they printed it on one long page instead of breaking it up. Then the packaging is always good - little notes explaining what is where, covering the patterns in paper, plastic and cardboard to protect them in the mail. Just wonderful! Thank you, Rick Rack!
