Shop here almost daily due to the convenience of the location (I cannot drive anymore). The family who run it are all great people, any staff I have met are always kind and friendly. Selection is really good. Hours of operation are long, for the late sleepers and early risers. If you are missing an ingredient for dinner/baking chances are they have it at a reasonable price. The samosas and tamarind chutney are absolutely amazing!

I love coming into this corner store sometimes for a treat. A bit tight but great selection of stuff and family is friendly and helpful, engages in small talk which is nice. 🙂

Been coming here for while. Usually have no issues but the times I go and the lady with the accent is the cashier, she charges more than the posted price. It happened twice before and thought maybe a mistake but a 3rd time? Then I see other reviews of the same scam. Unfortunately, you have lost my business and I will certainly be passing this on to all nearby businesses who use your store. I hate to think what else is going on behind the scene. We work hard for our money and taking it from us dishonestly is the express lane to losing your customers followed by your business. Good luck with the extra $1 here and there.

They sell basic BBQ stuff and some camping stuff, quite various option of groceries as well! sweet customer service💕 Really helpful for our camping👍

Great little family owned business. The folks are always friendly and more than eager to please. Once they get to know you and your purchasing needs are known, they will accommodate you by always having them on hand. Great coffee and great people!

May 1-7th 2022, Typical stereotype everything convenience store. Bit disorganized. Tight to get stuff. But they probably have what your looking for, if you can see it. I needed distilled water. Staff while I was in there was OK. 3 different people. Only three stars, cause it needs a good tidy up.

Outdated, overpriced products, and unfriendly... constantly eyeing you, but not offering to help you.<2015 Update: July 6th 2017, I went in for a cup of coffee in the morning before work- Kanda store has a selection of regular, dark, amazonia, and decaf. I like dark for flavour and I use a small amount of sugar and milk. The Amazonia mild/medium pot was out. After preparing my 21 ounce travel mug, tasted very weak like watered down, no flavour like decaf. I told the owner, i can't drink it like this, if i could dump it somewhere and try another cup; he said outside (so, no sink in store?) In his disgust, he took the pot out, and switched with pot that had been brewed under machine. So, i tried that one but this time i only poured halfway into my mug (I'm not wasteful), again it was weak, u know weak coffee becomes much brighter when mixed creme? But i used milk because i don't like creme displacing the taste of coffee. Well, i told they guy that i just can't drink it, "I'm sorry, but I can't drink it, no coffee for me today" i went outside to dump it again and i was also there to buy a pack of smokes, BUT he started yelling at me to get out and never come back again because i wasted $4 worth of coffee! (more like $0.75) so, his loss of customers. I want people to hear this as he is not a happy owner, I understand the way he is running his business is driving customers and potential away, making him more unhappy. Update October 2017: I wanted to give this store another chance as I needed whipping cream for a student's cooking class in a hurry as it is nearby, told me to get out right away before I even asked him! So, another potential revenue loss... I don't understand? I was very polite AND apologetic over the coffee issue at the time... now we have told our kids to stay away.
