Wonderful staff, great location and service, set up like a grocery store. No one taking more than they need great concept. If only every grocery store was like that... could even have some sections with planted fruits, herbs, and vegetables to pick from so they can regrow that would be ideal.

This is a New Food Bank .Once in, you go and sign in and answer questions. Then, once done ✔️ .You are given a clipboard 📋 of items 🤔 that a single person gets. It's based around the four based food groups. Once given instructions and pencil ✏️ to check ✔️ ✅️ your items off. If you are new like me ,it was hard working through the items. So you don't take too much 🤔 or go over limited. If you do ,the four at the checkout will help you out. The food you get is to last two weeks and then after you are to phone 📱 for another appointment. You'll notice it isn't that big and limited on items. The problem I had was having Disability were I saw things backward, then the placement of shelves. Then, translating what was on the clipboard 📋 and how many items. Note: I made a phone call to the Food Bank last week and ended up phoning over 30 times to try and make an appointment. Once I got the Food Bank to make an appointment last week . I stated, "Would I be going back to Broad St, and she stated "NO" . She stated only signal Family's are allowed there now. Theat signal people are to go to Winnipeg St only now on. I asked why a sudden change ,but she couldn't answer me . So I just left it alone. Then anybody who experienced problems with the phone leaves a comet. Thank you

I'm currently pregnant living on one income so I'm definitely struggling. I have one child with special needs. So I really do appreciate the help 🙏🏻 Working fulltime isn't enough anymore especially if it's minimum wage.
