Sept 2024: Passing through town, I saw a review that mentioned they had great baked goods here, so we stopped.
Were not disappointed!
Had great coffee and donuts here but there's a full convenience store, and many more food items.
Delicious!
Just down the street from the big swan.

YOU GOTTA STOP HERE! This store/bakery/small restaurant/local goods has something for everyone.
Need a breakfast sandwich? Get an EGGEL. Or perhaps you want donuts, cheese biscuits, muffins, or cinnamon buns(get the cinnamon buns). Need lunch? Daily soups and sandwiches, subs, pizza,dry ribs and so on. A roast beef sandwich on rye bread is excellent.

On the store side, you can purchase local jam, honey, perogies, fish and many other options. Of course there is numerous drinks, slushees, snacks and ice. Buy hotdog buns, hamburger buns, dinner rolls and fresh bread also.

There is a drive thru for the ultimate in convenience. You can even call ahead and pick up your meal order at the window(a bacon eggel for example) and the staff are great as are the owners.
I hope I didn’t forget too much things? Hours are posted online just keep in mind that this isn’t a dinner/ supper restaurant.
You may want to call and see if you can order a cheeseburger pizza to pick up at the window. So many choices …just don’t miss out on the goodness.

SWAN RIVER’s hidden gem! The eggels, rhubarb muffins and pretty much every bakery item in here is to die for!

Not to mention the staff are extra friendly!

The staff is all very friendly! They have the most incredible baked goods. Their multigrain bread is absolutely delish. Their hamburger and hot dog buns are also really good. Pizza pretzels..
Yum! I think my absolute favorite is their VERY HUGE cinnamon bun with cream cheese icing. They have all sorts of valley made food like perogies, lasagna, cheesecake, ham sausage, pizza, daunting, etc. The food is amazing!

Visiting from out of town and stopped in to pick up a few things on the way out to my mother's farm. Great salad with turkey for lunch, all fresh ingredients. Good sandwiches and of course delicious cinnamon buns. It was during lunch rush and service was fast and friendly. Please extend my kudos and thanks to the staff. 🙂

Heard great things about the Eggel and I was not disappointed! As you can see my friend thoroughly enjoyed her breakfast sandwich - perfect for roadtrips!!

Awesome store! Numerous locally produced unique products... Fresh frozon fish - Walleye, Pike, Cheeks, ect... Good Jerkey selection + Fireworks. They run an in-house bakery, best bread in town. Great coffee. Get it all from the drive thru, or pop in and don't forget the Old West Beef Jerkey and scratchers 🙃.

Had the cinnamon buns and the turkey pot pie for takeout. Turkey pot pie was fantastic!!. Cinnamon buns, the wife says are best in the province. (I get cinnamon buns from almost every bakery when I stop somewhere in Manitoba.)
