Great Comox location. This store has gone downhill big-time since the takeover from the grocery giant. Prices on most things are higher than some of the other stores. Varieties are limited. Staff is hit or miss. Some are very friendly and helpful. Well others are rude and short with you. They do have a very good delicatessen bar with prepared foods. The Chinese food is always hot and good and the breakfast are also a good value. There are better places to buy your groceries!

My son and I really like this store. We go have lunch from the hot case. The two peice chicken meal is great value for what it costs. The store is chilly though.

If you compare QF to places like Costco or Superstore you will find their prices are more expensive, but in some areas there is a clear difference. The produce is almost always better and fresher. The service is always friendlier and it is easier to find help when you need it. The Deli and food counters also offer a great selection of food - the Chinese food is not bad, but not as good as most proper restaurants, but great for a fast, good inexpensive meal.

Certainly prefer going here than many of the bigger nationwide chains although I don’t love the switch to more rewards. I hate how all the stores are being gobbled up by larger companies.

Also they rarely have enough cashiers working - checking out can be a very slow experience.

The staff here are always top tier. Friendly, kind, courteous, the Chinese food is the best in the Comox Valley. Great selection of groceries, always lots of stock. I like that I can get my more rewards at QF, and get that tasty Chinese for for free with 5000 points.

Such a fabulous grocery store and a real pleasure to shop at! A clean, well stocked, good looking store! The cafe upstairs was neat too with their outdoor patio!

This store has almost everything you want. The store is bright, cheerful and clean! The employees are very helpful!

They have a great selection of plants and cacti! Other than that, they have vegetables, fruits, milk, ice creams and much more! They sell cooked Chinese food here as well!

Not the cheapest grocery store but definitely the most complete stop you will make. Lots of upscale brands, specializing in local products where possible. An incredible place for A+ Chinese food and deli favorites. A beautiful spot to have lunch or dinner in their comfortable and homey cafeteria area that features a fireplace for those cool days. Staff are always polite and full of character. A higher end gift shop and coffee bar is hidden upstairs and if you can find the staircase (off the deli) you are in for a real treat perusing treasures you are not likely to find anyplace else in Comox. And the best part.....custom deli sandwiches ONLY $4.99!!

Do NOT go to this quality foods!!! You will end up buying rotten meat, fried chicken that last saw an oven over 4 hrs ago, yogurt that expired 2 weeks ago, cashiers that wont bag your groceries or treat you with common courtesy, AND management that either wont deal with the situations or make excuses for them. Go spend your hard earned money at any other grocery store out there but here!
