Public Vinyl is the best record store in the Kootenays, hands down. Creston, BC is so lucky to have this amazing space in their town. I was driving through from Lethbridge to Vancouver, and noticed the sign, so I stopped in. I can’t resist. What a treat and surprise! The new and used selections are abundant, well organized, and easy to peruse. It was an absolute joy to spend a couple of hours there. Kevin, the owner, is a really cool guy who knows his music, can make stellar recommendations based on individual preferences, and is excellent to do business with. If I lived in Creston, I would be there every week without fail. If you are driving through, I cannot recommend enough! You gotta check it out and get some sweet, sweet music. I will be, every time I am through. Thank you Kevin for creating such a cool space for experiencing and purchasing music. I love it! Can’t wait to start spinning.
