Very nice store, big, clean. Went in 12:30pm Wednesday no one in there, in fact the whole time there no one else came in, just saying. Wanted to get someone to look at my car radio it was not working well. He didn’t look just said I needed a new one, when I asked could it be speakers he said no it’s the radio even thought I told him the rear speaker were not working. Told me I need a new radio and it would cost $500.00 installed. Left thought that was way too much for a radio and I still felt speakers had an issue. Went to another store in Guelph same result. Went home and started watching You Tube videos. Got a $25.00 radio from salvage yard put it in after watching more videos, also fixed rear speakers with videos and some wire I had. All I need now is face plate which I will get from Amazon. So instead of $500.00 I spent under $50.00 and it works. Before spending money at these stores find out what other people did you may save money too.

Got my subwoofer installed today, the staff was very nice and Richard did an amazing job. Recommended a new box so it last longer and sounds better, tuned it for the type of music I listen too. Very professional work and a affordable price for the full installation. Highly recommend powerline, thank you again for helping me out with my car I'm so happy and it sounds amazing. Before I even left the lot I had a smile on my face just hearing the difference!!

Brought my 05' Ram 2500 to them to install an aftermarket double din LCD screen stereo. Its a difficult truck with the upgraded OEM infinity sound system you have to by-pass and they did it in a fraction of the time it would have taken me, and for a very fair price! Great spot, great products, great work, 10/10 recommend

Edit: Definitely 5 stars for work and service, however after picking up the truck was covered in purple splotches that took quite a while to clean off, not sure what they were. Thats the reason for the 4 stars.

Staff went above and beyond to trouble shoot and answer questions about a new audio system and an older tv. They even partially assembled some of the equipment to make it easier when I took it home. You won’t get this kind of service and due diligence in a big box store. Which is why we keep coming back.

Brought in a vintage turntable and speakers to see if I could get the correct wiring I needed to hook the Turntable up to the speakers. And the guy at the Counter told straight up that the console was too old and would never be Abel to be used again. He then proceeded to try and sell me a new turntable. I felt like he was trying to sell me expensive equipment instead of just selling me the wires I needed which would not be that much money.

I then went to a shop down the road and asked for the same thing

He told me “ no problem “ and sold me RCA to speaker wire. I got home and set it up no
Problem. It all sounds great.

If I ever want to upgrade my gear, I will not be going to power line

I recently purchase a 2020 Lexus. The previous owner was not aware of a remote start on the vehicle. I made an appt to have a car starter installed today. Staff called me shortly after dropping off my vehicle to tell me there was already one on it and it worked no problem. They could have installed the requested unit and i would never had known. That's what good honest service is all about!
