I can't say enough good things about Plant Prepped ! The food quality has been top-notch and the meals are delicious !

As someone new to plant based meals, I was excited for these meal kits. While there is a good diversity of recipes, the meals take 25% longer to prep/cook than what is on the recipe card. Recipe cards are also not easy to follow (coming from someone who cooks from a lot of recipes).

Even with that aside, I would have been happy to continue, however the real issue lies in the ingredient freshness and customer service. Similar to other reviews upon receiving a bad I could guarantee: produce is bad, ingredients are missing or produce is underripe and unusable for the given meal.
When reaching out to Karen at their customer service, there was no attempt to make things right and actually blamed me that I used ingredients wrong (tofu should have been for 2 meals not 1). There is no acknowledgment of the issues or to attempt to help fix anything.

Portion sizes have gotten smaller and smaller, the quality of the ingredients is questionable (so much cabbage, so little fresh herbs) and the ordering platform just isn't flexible or modern enough for us.

Like another reviewer, we were also victims of the unripe avocado situation. 😅

To be fair though, we do enjoy most recipes and appreciate that there is a plant based option out there. I just don't think this service is adapted for our lifestyle anymore.

In our location, there are many catering services that offer prepared vegan meals for the same per portion price.

We loved this company a couple years ago when we first started. Their produce and quality control has gone down the drain though. Moldy and bad ingredients, and I find they are providing "cheaper" meals now with less substantial proteins, etc. Almost every week without fail one or two items are bad, something is missing, or their instructions are missing steps. Their customer service is also HORRENDOUS like one of the worst teams I have ever encountered. Argue with you, wont refund damaged goods, told us to pick our ingredients out of the ice pack gel that broke inside the box most recently saying it wasn't toxic and we could salvage everything (it was swimming in the gel). We would get delivery on tues, check items immediately and contact them if any issues and they would immediately deny and deny. We have ended our service with them after quite some time for this reason. Good luck to you guys 🙂

My husband and I have been using Plant Prepped for a few years now. We love that it gives us new recipes to try when we get stuck in a rut and it gives us a break from the grocery store. Just glad to find an all vegan option. What has worked best for us is going in and skipping all the weeks available and then picking and choosing which week we want based on the menu. We probably average around one a month. Of course, there have been times I've forgotten to go in and skip and you end up with a surprise box with recipes you didn't select. I personally think it would be a better idea instead of having to skip just logging in and choosing when you do want a box. But I'm sure they make more money this way because I just keep the surprise box I receive, so that's money they wouldn't have gotten otherwise. Thankfully, I have never had to deal with customer service except to change my address and that went smoothly. Overall, I say give it a try and see if it works for you because we have been customers for awhile now and haven't had any major issues.

Love the idea of a fully plantbased meal service, but I found the meals to be a bit disappointing. We had some issues with ingredients (moldy or missing) and issues with the recipes (missing an ingredient in the instructions occasionally or just a bad recipe with poor results). Some of the recipes were very good, but the hit or miss each week made it not worth it for us. I also found the online ordering system a bit lacking with the requirement to order so far in advance.

Absolutely awful customer service . In the beginning, it was great. Slowly ,over time, customer service became absolutely horrible Here's what we encountered. One meal bag was a mess with broken packets of cheap BBQ sauce spilled over EVERYTHING. Another meal bag was fine, but the wrong recipe card. I had company for dinner and had no idea how to make the meal.Another bag contained avacado that would have taken a week to ripen, leaving Tuesdays dinner inedible. The mistakes are not so much the issue. What is the issue is asking them to make good with a regular customer, for some major mistakes, and being told they won't do anything for us. So it's a big no more for us. Seems their low Google review rating is WELL DESERVED. I'd leave 0 stars if it was an option.

The concept of a vegan meal delivery box with '' fresh and local ingredients '' is interesting. Also the only one available in my location, I like the service but the more time passed and the portions slightly got smaller, food was no longer '' organic '', prices was a bit too high for the food we got and menu was becoming redundant. If it's your only option I recommend you try it for yourself, I believe that not every experience is the same. This is convenient and the majority of the meals are tasty !
