Besides being horribly unresponsive (try calling 20x in one day to prove a point and realize this for yourself) the secondhand machines they sell are utter garbage. They've been supposedly repaired but I've used mine 4 times and had to get it repaired before/after each time. Do yourself a favor and don't buy from here.

Sabine still remembered my name even though I hadn't come in for 3 years. The employees are knowledgeable, giving some tips for tension and showing me how to thread my machine properly after a long break from sewing. I feel so grateful for the kind and efficient service. My sister is a customer and introduced me to Pfaff on Granville a few years ago. I just upgraded 2 machines; one for taking to workshops (Pfaff 710) and the other my dream machine - the Pfaff Creative Icon 2. I also purchased my Pfaff Air Serger and Janome CoverPro from them. Plus I bought a recommended Janome for a beginner sewer. Sabine and team have always been superb ... welcoming, informative, never tried to upsell, have been patient with my many requests for buying extra accessories, and respond to emails and calls. They also do my annual servicing. 5 star staff and service from my experience!

Amazing customer service! Friendly, knowledgeable and truly happy people work here. Sabine is the consummate teacher who is always kind and patient and will answer any questions you have with her excellent repertoire of sewing knowledge. This is the place to go if you have questions about machines, repairs, sewing etc. If you see James there, he knows everything in the industry and is more than happy to help with a smile! This a business I trust and is the only place I bring my Pfaff machine to service. I will be back. Thanks so much for the excellent job on fixing my Pfaff sewing machine!!

As of April 17 2023, Still no repair completed on this machine. You would thing that after 3+ years someone would make an effort to get this machine repaired or even respond that the cannot do the work. WORST service in the world!

My sister has been waiting for her sewing machine to be repaired for 2 YEARS!! She has been to the store on more than two occasions to pick up the machine, 'supposedly ready' and still does not have her machine. The latest (last two weeks) is that it has been repaired but doesn't work and they have no idea when it will be repaired. Be aware when taking your machine to this location for electronic repair. If they don't have the ability to repair the machine they should say so! They seldom answer the phone and leaving a message is impossible as the mailbox is always full. Occasionally, they will cal you back. She wants her sewing machine back!

I searched and searched Vancouver for a sewing store where it felt cozy and welcoming. Pfaff on Granville hit the mark. Sabine and crew are friendly and helpful. I bought my Pfaff sewing machine and couldn't be happier. And when I wanted to upgrade - no problem. They took back the machine I had bought a few months earlier and I only had to pay the difference in price to get the fancier machine. And when I had questions about the machine (the different razzle dazzle things it could do) - again, no problem. Sabine hosted me in store for a free lesson and has answered my many emails and phone calls with instructions and helpful tips and tricks. My friends have now bought their sewing machines from Pfaff and are too enjoying the fantastic service and help.

This experience incetified me to consider more local shops when purchasing specific goods.
Great and reliable service at Pfaff's on Granville. I had an issue with my machine...no questions asked and they gave me a new one. The owner even gave me some durable thread and a box of needles for my hockey gear free of charge. Buy local instead of Amazon!! No regrets! One happy customer left this neighbourhood shop.
