I did a tour of the Penticton Foundry in July of 2019, it was really memorable and I was very impressed that a small town like Penticton has good manufacturing jobs that are being kept in Canada. They turn out loads of high quality products. I was happy to see that they also had a very safe working environment.

I've lived in Penticton for eight years, but never took much notice of the foundry until I was invited to join a tour this summer. Had an eye-opening experience, learning that industry-leading technology was being developed and implemented right in my back yard, quietly and safely.

I toured Penticton Foundry in the summer of 2019, I enjoyed learning about Ductile and Chrome White Iron Castings. I was impressed by obvious care and safety practices taken by staff, allowing us to see closely how to melt and pour metal. A very cool peek into the new processes in an ancient technology.

I had a tour of the Penticton Foundry last summer, led by Brian Bendig. It was extremely well done and very interesting. I thought a foundry made man hole covers. I was super impressed to learn they also produce bearings for a large U.S. company to reduce earthquake damage to their buildings in Silicon Valley!
