I would just like to extend a huge thank you to Tamsen and the team at save-on-foods in Burnaby at the Old Orchard Shopping Mall.
I was having a celebration of life for my husband, a Vancouver firefighter, and Tamsen and the team went above and beyond. The food was amazing and when I asked about delivery she took it upon herself to deliver the food with a coworker, herself, no charge. She also picked up baguettes at the store that morning (I was going to buy them the day before) for me to have extra to cut up, telling me that I would want them fresh.
It went a long way in making a stressful day easier. Thank you to Tamsen and the team at save-on-foods, old orchard shopping centre Burnaby.

Unfortunately at a going away party for my son the Caesar salad I purchased at the Maple Ridge Save On had a 2” grasshopper at bottom of salad
gross. Other than getting my money back & an email apology no one has bothered to contact me via phone call or offered a gift card? Very disappointed in Save On Foods. Might send photos to newspaper.

Dealt with a person who said he was a manager at the east maple ridge save on foods. He was rude and very condescending. Would not give me his name and had no badge on his shirt so I have no way to identify him to complain. I can only imagine with his attitude he gets many complaints and that's why he doesn't want you to know who he is. I e mailed customer service and received very standard response but did not address my complaint. What good is customer service if they don't deal with the complaint and attempt to resolve the issue. An apology would have been nice.

I regularly shop at one of the 3 stores in the Sherwood Park, Alberta stores. Today was the 4th time in the last 6 months that I have come home with meat that is rotten. I understand it happens, but 4 times.......this is not acceptable. It varies from chicken to pork. I go to the store, it is an hour away, I come home, go to put it away and I can smell it in the packaging. This is from all 3 stores, at any given time. I am fed up giving my money to this place.

The Manager, Paula, at the Sapperton location was not happy that I have complained about an item on almost every one of my online orders. I have spent thousands of dollars on online grocery delivery, and I have high expectations. I do not accept chicken that stinks, or pork chops with a best before date of the following day. I also do not accept salsa that has an open seal, soft tacos that are rotten, or soft tacos that are open to the air. She inferred that I am a scammer because I and am always complaining and getting a credit, and will I be expecting a $40 credit for each order going forward, which is a GROSS exaggeration. As a conscientious consumer, I am not paying good money for items that should be properly handled, or that are defective. Paula needs to learn that the customer is always right, and she needs lessons in professionalism.

This is not my primary account. I went to Saveon in Parksville and asked the security guard where the washroom was. He followed me there and then to the deli where I picked out a sandwich. I then paid in the self checkout and when I exited he acused me of not paying. When I got upset he lied and called the police on me. Funny thing is I am an Asset Protection associate so understand the job and he did everything wrong. He tried to have me banned from the store for his mistake. I tried to get a manager to help without success. They told me I was lying. I did get a call from the store manager which was less offensive but he told me he would call me back after talking to the associate. He hasn't called back . I left a message for the district manager but haven't heard back. To be accused of what I spent the last 15 years deterring and stopping was highly offensive. If they had at any point simply apologized I would have let it go but they lied and went hard on the lies to disparage me. The security guard has no idea what his job entails.
