Great place for late dinner! So glad this place was open and they had a full menu available. They were kind enough to let us sit down and eat even thought it was a little after 9. The staff was extremely friendly and had great local food, I loved the pan fried fish which was lightly breaded cod with scrunchions (bits of fried fat that’s crispy). Had a nice chicken salad on the side and for leftovers. Kids loved sharing a pizza and the seafood platter was tasty and fresh.

It might not look much from the outside, or the inside but the food was delicious. I'd 100% recommend the cod tongue and poutine. We also had a really lovely chat to the staff member after paying - it was a super friendly place.

A great, local home style place! We were in Bonavista for the evening and decided to eat here. There were a lot of options on the menu and we went for the fish and chips and it did not disappoint. It was lightly breaded and the fries were perfect! The service was great, very friendly servers and the atmosphere matches the food. It’s not fancy but you will not leave disappointed.

Eating at PK's was like eating at a mess hall during my old days in the military. Good old fashioned no BS comfort food in a setting which wasn't exactly memorable.
If you're looking for a dining experience, there are many other places to go. But if you're looking for a hearty meal with large portions and a reasonable price, you can't go wrong.

No complaints food and service is great but you need a heat pump in your dining room for the hot summer months. I can only imagine the kitchens temp.

Delicious food and authentic hospitality in Bonavista, open all year round!

As tourists, me and my family wanted to experience the food and restaurants in Bonavista and weren’t too impressed. We went in and ordered two large pizzas. One pepperoni, one with three toppings; mushrooms, peppers and pepperoni. We were told the wait would be 30 minutes and gave them our number to call us. We took a scenic drive around Bonavista, and after thirty minutes (without anyone calling us) we returned back to PK’s. As we came back, our pizza wasn’t ready and took an extra thirty minutes for us to receive it. Very unfortunate considering the pizza was mediocre with very few peppers and mushrooms on our second pizza. At least it was hot.
I probably wouldn’t come back, and same for my family. There are definitely better places in Bonavista!
