I rented a bike. They had e-bikes and fat bikes, I opted for an e-bike which turned out to be helpful when going uphill numerous times. The bike was good quality and was about $99 for the entire day. Lock and helmet included. It was a great way to explore Yellowknife, I was able to cover pretty much the entire city in one day. The staff were friendly and efficient.

First, this store is awesome and you should absolutely check it out. The staff are nice. We really appreciated being able to rent ebikes in Yellowknife and Overlander is the only one that provides that service. My complaint is, the high rental price sets expectations that were not met: -both bikes had almost flat tires and staff struggled to top them up
- both seats were crooked
- both bikes had issues powering up. One bike we had to cycle on - off on at least five different occasions to get the power working
- the lights didn't seem to be on
- (the very nice) staff needed a reminder to give us helmets
- the bikes came with racks - couldn't the store add some panniers or basket for day trip items?
Still, at least Overlander offers ebike rentals which is the absolute best way to get around Yellowknife IMO.

Today at around lunch time I went to Overlander Sport’s parking lot and parked my vehicle, while getting out of my truck and walking towards the door I noticed that there was a male individual “observing” the parking lot. My friend had turned the corner and while I was walking towards the door (I peeked around the corner to see where she was going) the individual came from out of the door and said to me “if your not going to shop in the store, I’m going to have you towed. I towed 4 people yesterday”. My response was “are you serious” ? He said “yes” my response was, “wow I was going to go into your store, but not anymore” he responded with “I don’t care”. I then mentioned to him that his customer service was terrible and that I would be mentioning this encounter on my social media. He then mentioned that he “didn’t care”. I asked him who his manager was and he told me he was “part owner” of the store. This interaction was horrible, shame on you store owner !!! For firstly accusing me of something before I got the chance to enter !!! I will NEVER support this business EVER again !!! This owner was very arrogant, pompous, and rude !!!

We had an amazing experience with Mike and Matt, at Overlander Sports. I called them from Calgary, to do an over the phone purchase and they were WONDERFUL! The product was PERFECT and the delivery was wonderful too. Thank you so much to all the staff for the great communication and for your understanding with this purchase. レンタルサイクルを利用しました。電動のマウンテンバイクと、普通のマウンテンバイクがあり、普通のマウンテンバイクを1日68ドルくらいで拝借（2024・09）。お店→オールドタウン→グレートスレーブ湖の湖畔→ダウンタウン→ニュータウン→お店　の順で巡りました。それなりに高低差もあり、一部舗装されていない道もあるのでとても楽しいサイクリングでした。自転車で、ダウンタウン以外の主要観光スポットとお買い物を楽しんで６時間ほど。決して安くはないですが、小さい街なのでレンタルサイクルはとてもいい選択だったと思います。私は拙い英語でしたが、優しい店員さんがサポートしてくれました。
