I described what I was thirsty for and they made it perfectly.
Sweets were a treat, even for my gluten, dairy and soy sensitive wife. Thanks for making it a friendly fun visit for us.

Dropped into Northside Coffee Shop in Lanigan on our way back to Toronto from Vancouver, what a cracking little spot! Coffee was top notch and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Proper warm welcome, lovely atmosphere, and just the sort of place you’re chuffed to stumble across on a long drive. Definitely worth a stop if you’re passing through.

Northside is such a gem! Excellent coffee and food options (including gluten-free and dairy-free), friendly staff, and cozy seating options. A great place to visit with friends and shop for a variety of treasures at the maker's market. Favorite beverage: caramel macchiato.

Best Gluten Free cookie I have ever eaten. Lemon custardy goodness. I regret not buying more on our way through. The chocolate oat brownie was excellent too, but the lemon custard cookie was absolutely amazing.🤩

I'm a coffee snob too, and the espresso was very good! ☕️☕️

From the outside, you’ll find the storefront of Northside Coffee and Cream as a clean and unassuming shop.

The moment you step inside, however, you immediately smell the wonderful fresh pastries and coffee, along with what looks like local artists’ giftwares along the sides of the shop.

As well, there is a wonderful little fireplace where you can sit, have a coffee and read a book from their store library.

Now, let’s get to the best part - the coffee and pastries! I decided to have the oat fudge bar and my fiancée had the mixed berry bar, along with a cappuccino and London fog. All were made with care, attention to detail and were absolutely amazing!!!

As far as coffee shops go, and I’ve been to 100’s if not 1000’s across Canada and the US, this is one of my top five favourite shops out there.

I also wanted to commend, who I thought was the owner (an older gentleman with glasses), but didn’t have the chance - but hopefully he reads this and thank you for your fine establishment!

Honestly, I would consider doing a road trip just to go to this place alone, I loved it that much!

Northside - Your town ought to be extremely proud of your business and thank you for running such a wonderful store!

Great stop on Highway 16. Matcha latte nicely made. Many local art and crafts for sale. Looking forward to using the handmade soap I bought.

Wonderful atmosphere and people! The bosses are friendly and hard working. They accomodate those who have allergies! Love the homemade items and photo galleries to support local artists. Thank you for opening your business we will be back often
