I was pleasantly surprised by the service of the staff at the pool! It was always a pleasure to come to the facility for birthdays, field trips, and for swimming lessons! It was amazingly kept and the amenities were too tier.

Swim instructors are AMAZING! They make the classes enjoyable and engaging for the kids.

Total bullshit that you have to sign up online when you want to take your family swimming and the people who actually book and NOT show up wasting slots for other people. Such bullshit.

Having to go online just to book a swim time? Ridiculous! The lady on the phone did not help at all (she couldn’t understand what I was talking about - probably because the website is all messed up so I don’t have a clue either) she just directed me to the Melfort website. Apparently I have to register ALL my family members that want to go swimming by an unclear, small font registration form. I thought that being in a small, well kept community, would make everything so much more enjoyable and easier communication all around but I must’ve been wrong. Melfort’s swimming pool staff are rude and the booking website is confusing. Maybe if we could just show up and get into the pool without the hassle or staff could change/direct us to better understand the booking process, the pool would be full and the money could go towards cleaner tiles or even the water slide working ( sometimes I’ll pass by and there is families walking out muttering about not getting their monies worth when all the kids can do is splash around - no fun slide at all ) . It really is disappointing to see Melfort failing in such an easy task. Until anything changes… 1/5 stars.

Very few and short swim times. Always changing swim schedule. Register or risk missing out - mostly on weekends. Tiles in pool look gross and old. They painted over the cool murals. So unimpressed with Melfort.

So many ridiculous rules, five minutes into swimming my kids where crying. Contradicting rules as well must be 12.. Oh sorry 16. Oh you want a life jacket well that cost extra.
Asked if my kids could swim laps to be able to do something at least, but apparently swimming abilities means nothing. Size is everything.
Will say life guards are awesome, they did their job 👍🏻
Nice place as well. This is totally directed at the rule maker / safety person.
I won't be bothered to return.

Website definitely needs an update.. we drive from out of town an hour, and to be turned away from the public swim because you need to book a time frame? Very poor communication unless you are local or are a frequent swimmer. The disappointment and cost is just bull**it!
