There is absolutely no reason for a rendering plant to be located in the midst of a residential neighbourhood. The large trucks coming and going are a hazard to vehicles and pedestrians. And the smell. If the wretched stink isn't toxic, I don't know what is. I get it. It's been here for a while. However, the neighbourhood has changed and is continuing to do so. The city needs to rezone the area or provide an incentive for the plant to relocate. With a retirement home planned for the adjacent site, and more residential & commercial developments in the area, our elected officials need to act now.

NEVER VISIT THE AREA AROUND 4PM ON ANY DAY!!
I live there and I'm telling you this!

I know they have been here a very long time, however, the area has evolved from an industrial neighbourhood to a residential one. If the city is looking to further develop the area (which it seems like they are) they need to really assist this factory in moving out away.

We have many little parekettes, which are impossible to visit at certain times of the day. I've lived in the area for over 10 years and its been virtually impossible to spend a nice early evening on my deck or balcony. I even have to ensure that I don't leave my clothes out drying during certain times in the day, or else they will stink of decaying life.

Several other factories along Lansdowne have moved away from the city. It is time for Nitta Gelatin to do the same.

How much gelatin can people actually need Maybe its my ignorance here cause I'm vegetarian. But seriously makes not sense.

This Place is great. The bad reviews are left by potatoes that moved in next to a 100+ year old plant. Wanna guess why we call this area the stockyards geniuses? Wanna guess why toronto was known as hogtown? Cry harder karens. This place was here long before you were.

today I was passing by ,this place stinks up the entire neighborhood enevn in this cold day. I think they have sirius pollution problem that is why can not move somewhere else. otherwise they can sell the land and open 3 factories with that money somewhere else.
