Great place for filled pastry. I tried the ground beef, delicious and the apple, with a nice cinnamon flavour, not too heavy. I also got a Turkish coffee, all the set. Nice experience

First time visiting, we ordered the Chevapi and a chicken pita, also picked up some pistachio croissants and a small cheese cake dessert for my wife

Chevapi was great, perfectly seasoned sausages wrapped in between a fluffy pan toasted bread with loads of onions, the side sauces were a great addition

I'd driven past Nana's Bakery many times and heard good things about it so when I saw it on the Too Good To Go app, I decided to give them a try. The bag was filled mostly with savoury goods in it but we did get one baked good that seemed to be more of a dessert. When I picked it up, I inquired about whether there was any meat in any of the foods. The lady was kind enough to switch some of the foods for me so that it was all Vegetarian food in the bag.

To be honest, we weren't crazy about every single item in our bag. For the price we paid though, I think it was still very good value and we did find at least two items in the bag that we very much enjoyed. So would I go back to Nana's Bakery? Absolutely! There was some kind of savoury pastry that had a potato filling in it. Loved that. Also, there was some kind of spiral pastry with cheese in it. Loved that as well. I was very happy that the lady was willing to switch the foods for me so that it was Vegetarian, so…top marks for customer service!

First time ordered from this little place, so crowded around lunch time. Food is amazing. This is first time we tried this kind of food too but the stuffed pastry filling was soft and juicy, both cheese and beef. Will definitely come back to try more dishes

This review is just about the service, not the food because I never got any. Ordered from Too Good to Go. Because of an unusual traffic jam I got to the store 5 minutes late. The shopkeep/employee was still in and standing behind the counter. I showed her the Too Good to Go order. Unfortunately she refused to accommodate the situation or allow me to come back tomorrow.

A very unique experience for my family trying the eastern European bakery for the first time and they love it. Both savory and sweet are filling and cheap. My brother loves the apple pie so much that he said it is the best apple pie he ever had. This place also has grocery that is fun to check out as well. We bought turkish coffee from there as well.

Will not return. Shockingly rude service.
I came in here a while ago, on my bike, since it is off the bike route. It was convenient and food was ok.
Returned recently, along with friends. I tried to look at the menu posted on a rear wall. Since I'm not familiar with this type of Eastern European food, I tried to ask the worker more about what was available and more about the food.
She was beyond rude. Apparently, I was standing next to the counter, so I could see her, while I asked her questions about the food and menu. She shouted for me to go stand in front of the counter before she would give me any information, stating, "You're making me uncomfortable."
It was so bizarre, I would have left without ordering, but did not want to put out my friends. Discussing with my partner later about this incident, it felt like racist behaviour to me (I'm non-white man). My partner was more generous and said "maybe she is just uncomfortable with men."
Still left a very negative feeling and impact.
Too bad because it does seem like an interesting place, with food and eastern european groceries.
