Visited the hot springs as a day visitor.

As far as commercial hot springs go, Nakusp is a good one. It has a much more calm atmosphere than many others. It’s out of the way location means less people, which is a nice change from many others in western Canada.

Definitely recommend going on a snowy day, it really adds to the atmosphere. I like that they had relaxing music quietly playing in the background, it’s a nice touch.

One of the best parts was how clean and dry the changing area was.

I would go again if I was in the area.

Pet friendly means $100 cleaning fee to vacuum and do laundry, something they should be doing anyway.|We stayed two nights cleaning & sweeping before leaving and were still charge $100 for dog hair. |Take photos before you leave as this was my mistake. |Otherwise our stay was nice.

Stayed for a night in the chalet and soaked in the spring, a very pleasant and relaxing location. By far one of the quieter commercial springs around, with a local feel to it. The spring is actually owned by the Village of Nakusp and you can tell that effort has been put into the experience. A worthwhile stop!

My very first time here and loved it, we will definitely have to come back! We stayed 1 night and tented it in the rv area (site 21). We were right next to the water which was so peaceful for sleeping. Everything was accessible such as fresh drinking water and bathrooms/showers were cleaned nightly. The hot springs were an uphill walk only a minute or 2 away. They had a hot pool and a cold pool with floating noodles to enjoy! Not a lot of meal options but we anticipated that. They do however have a public use microwave if you needed to heat your own food. Nakusp Hot Springs is definitely worth the stop ❤️. P.S don't forget to check out the waterfall road side after a visit to the Hot Springs.

It's well organized and wasn't busy but I wouldn't necessarily call it a hot spring. The price for two lockers, two towels and entrance fee was $60 (granted some of it is returned with lockers/towels) I didn't fell the price accurately reflected the experience. If you compare Banff's hot springs to this, this is a pool.

+: There are 2 swimming pools
-: But the water was green color, we don't know why. In our trip we visited 4 different Hot springs, but just this one had green color of water.
And it is located too far away from the road. It looks like this is a place for elder people.

Very relaxed. Felt clean. Visited in the evening. Was a bit busy, maybe 50 people. On a weekend though. Glad to visit. Looking forward to soaking up the heat again, sometime in the future. Thanks.

Perfect getaway. It’s quiet and away from the city. The rooms are affordable and clean. You are connected to another room above or below you. The upper ones are larger and the lower are smaller. The smaller ones are perfect for 2 people. It’s a quick walk to the pools from the chalets. The service is good. I’ve been here tons now and have never had an issue. There are hikes in the area. As many others have said make sure you bring food there isn’t much food options at the front desk. Also no reception but there is wifi at the chalets and front desk area.
