The store has lovely merchandises, and a wide selection of knitted Ireland sweaters. The staffs were friendly and helpful; one of the staff also complimented my kids for being so well behaved. One negative is the prices for the same item is much higher than what you can buy in another close by town, but maybe overhead costs are higher here.

Be aware ! This store will never refund your money on a return. They only issue store credits and have high priced items of clothing. Be sure you love it before you buy it! Especially if your not from the area. A $300 store credit is not ideal. 😩

My wife and I visited this store ever so briefly today. We bring our well behaved border collie with us when we travel and as we walked through town there were many pet friendly stores. In fact, we were told by no less than 3 business owners that Lunenburg was an especially pet friendly town. Many businesses had water dishes out for the 4 legged friends. We took Rippey around town and decided to enter this establishment, we were quickly yelled at by a 50ish old lady clerk ‘ no dogs aloud ‘. Because of her attitude, I responded a little annoyed’. No pets, no business. I’ll admit I was a little angry at both her tone and demeanour. There were no apparent signs saying no dogs, but that’s. not the point. It was how we were told like we were 2nd class citizens. You can say kindly, I am sorry, but we don’t allow pets in the store. If you wouldn’t mind waiting outside we would appreciate it. Anyways. That’s my rant. Won’t give them a dime of my money.

My favourite place to shop in Lunenburg. Wonderful selection of high-quality gifts, from Glerups felt slippers from Denmark to warm socks, hats, sweaters, and scarves. Good selection of Blundstone shoes, ceramics, greeting cards, jewelry, shirts, and much more. If you are looking for high-quality woolen clothing, check out Mosaic.

Rude and will charge full
price tax for anything you break. i gave them 50 plus tax 15% = 57 dollars. I was a customer before today. I also work at another gift and often referred customers. We don’t have that policy at our shop - accidents happen.

Great service, and good variety of Blundstone boots: managed to pick up a pair of 1609s which were a nightmare to find elsewhere 🙂
