No frills? no problem! Home of the 25-cent cart. I mean, you can't score a cart to take home for 25 cents anywhere! Self-serve! Put the quarter in, and it's all yours! You have to pass the obstacle course test outside with the cart to enter. Once inside with that new yellow cart ride, you will find an excellent store with great staff!

Went yesterday for chicken breasts advertised. Not a one in the store! Called this morning-Still none in stock but was told that a rain check would be offered if I came in today. So made another trip only to be told the manager had informed the staff today that no rain checks were to be offered. So no expectation as to why the policy had changed….no rain check was granted! I am not a happy customer Mike

I just wanted to WARN people that shop at NoFrills Glencoe to check their receipt or better yet, watch every item that is scanned in store. I was shopping on December 10th. when I saw a end cap that had PC brand chocolate covered cranberries and almonds. The sign read that the cranberries were $4. However the side that had the almonds did not have a price. There was an employee right in front of me and I asked him if the almonds were $4 as well. He immediately answered yes. When I got home and looked at my receipt I was charged double that price of $8. I went back in the next day with my receipt and explained everything to the employee when I had asked to speak to the manager. She told me that they were $8 not $4. So why not have the proper price marked on the shelf so shoppers aren't tricked into buying the item thinking that they are all priced at $4. Also the wrapping paper I purchased that was supposed to be $12 ended up costing me $14. I asked about that too. I asked them if they knew about the "scanning code of practice?" She said it doesn't qualify on items over $10. That's not true. I was refunded $2.Just make sure you check your receipt because obviously their customer service is lacking.

So, I am not local but do live in a town near by. I am DONE shopping at this place!! I was purchasing raspberries when I began to notice that every container has multiple moldy raspberries in them. When I quietly brought it to their attention, I was met with a snarl and huff. As if it was my fault. Then said I'm a condescending time, I already had someone go through them. Then this week, I spent $30 on berries and other fruit and got them home and they were all moldy and rotten on the inside of the containers . DONE! There are some lovely people that work there but many who are not! I'll pay more and travel more just to get better stuff. I've had the same issue with other fruits and veggies other times. You lost 4 loyal customers.

No frills/RCSS /Loblaws/Shopper Drug Mart has finally cured me of shopping in their stores.
I used to gas up the car and collect points, but I got sick of the price they were charging to begin with so moved to Canadian Tire or Costco. I quit Shoppers over a year ago because you had to order prescriptions at least 3 days in advance and even then you might get to the store and be told they weren’t ready. I now deal at my local Pharmasave. They waive the extra fee over the ODB and I can have my prescription in a couple hours. Then the RCSS store in London added those horrible alarms to their shopping carts and the first time we went to leave it locked up and set off an alarm. We had nothing in our cart that was not paid for. In fact I had put 2 paring knives in my cart a few weeks before they installed these horrible carts and didn’t notice the knives until I was in the parking lot and realized I had not paid for them. The next time I went to the same RCSS I took the empty packages in and told the cashier what happened and had her scan them into my bill that day. Today was the final straw. In the flyer this week you will see PC Bacon on sale for 4.99 but wait – not exactly – that price is ONLY if you install their app on your phone. Does not matter if you have a PC Optimum card or that you have PC Financial Master Card. I do NOT WANT any more APPS on my phone. Furthermore not everyone has a smart phone so now you are penalizing some of the people who can least afford it. When we checked out we asked the cashier if the system would recalcuate our price and she said it would but it DID NOT!
Their management can pull out huge wages and get extreme wage increases etc but never mind giving their customers a break. I am done with this group of stores. I am so sick of this company, my plan is to buy only those things that are on sale and clean out my Optimum card, cancel my PC Master Card and never go back again. It will take me a while to get rid of the points but I am truly sick of these loyalty point gimmicks and it is in truth just another gimmick . Just give your customers better prices never mind these stupid points .
