I got the ground beef kebabs and was disappointed. No flavor in the meat, just tasted like a plain hamburger. Very strange because middle eastern food is usually full of spices and flavor..

I highly recommend this local, family-run Mideast food mecca in North End Halifax. You can pick up supplies and unique ingredients for cooking and baking, eat delicious food at the cafe, or order a custom meal or dessert to go. For my mom’s 65th birthday celebration, I ordered $75 worth of baklava and it was perfection, with very generously sized pieces for more than 15 people (and beautifully crafted and presented). We will be ordering this again for special occasions!

My first time here today looking for home made hummus. I've found a large container for a great price. The man behind the counter, I presume the owner was very friendly. The store looked clean and smelled of yummy spices. The hummus is delicious, I'll be back for more! Eating it as I write this... going to get fat off of this hummus. ?

This is a restaurant in a Middle Eastern grocery - very, very clean and new looking. The food in this casual establishment was amazing. The appetizers and meals were all top notch and the atmosphere is kind and laid back. Highly recommend!!

This store now has a clean, well-lit restaurant at the back. The food is excellent: well flavoured with good sized portions. It is traditional ME food. The falafel wrap is superb! The gentlemen working there are very friendly. Service is fast. You can eat in or takeaway.

Back for the first time since the re-opening & there has been a steep decline in the atmosphere (QR code menus only? We're past that.) and the food quality. Still palatable but I'm very curious what changed. Great disappointment.

Outstanding food and service every time. The only place I trust for Mediterranean ingredients! The Chef in the Kitchen next door is so kind and has the largest array of amazing authentic take-home salads, shawarma, pies, and more all made from scratch!

I absolutely find this my favourite take out food establishment that surpasses all. Freshly prepared with subtle flavours at very reasonable prices. Folks are very accommodating & polite. Best place also to but nuts, pita, nan & groceries to enhance or recreate this cuisine.
