Cris Outram and his crew are what you're looking for in an electrician and field partner. He and his crew were professional and knowledgeable from the very start. He took a large scale, 2 week project, and completed it in about a week and on budget.

Martech is the crew you want. If there's a problem, they tell you promptly, with at least two or three suggestions on how to solve it, with prices that won't leave you selling your house to pay for.

I just wish they did work in the lower 48 states, too.

Today (Aug. 25/20) 2 large Martech utility trucks, a 1 ton dump truck, and a 1 ton crew cab towing a cable trailer showed up on my private property. No one asked permission. The 1 ton towing the trailer and the dump truck parked in front of my home blocking my garage and restricting access to my vehicles from 9 am to 2:30 pm. The two large trucks worked in the back of my neighbour's property. The two 1 tons and the trailer were not used in the work at all - they could have been parked off my property. About mid-day, a family member had an appointment and tried to move her car - she bumped into the dump truck partly because she didn't see the back of it sticking out and partly because her car was hemmed in. Now she is out $2000 in repairs all because Martech chose to park on my private property without asking permission. I know these folks have a job to do in installing utility poles for the City of Nelson, and I know that Nelson has an easement that permits access, but they could have at least parked the trucks that weren't part of the work off the site. At the very least they could have had the common courtesy to ask permission to park so close to my house and garage! But not one word. And by the way, I fully stand behind this review as a factual statement of what occurred.

Martech Electric are the ones to call if you want professional service in the Kootenays. They do residential as well as commercial and so much more. They installed their Lutron SeeTouch keypad in our showroom so we can now change the lights and music with the touch of a button. Highly recommend this great bunch.
