Went in to do grocery shopping today I was selecting out some produce and got myself some oranges and went to get some apples and noticed that there was a lot of rotten apples sitting out in the produce section right when you walk in the store. I noticed the manager was working the till so I relayed a message to the manager that there was rotten apples in the produce section she called the produce person who came to the front and I noticed they spoke and he glared at me and turned and walked and I asked him if he was the produce fellow a very demeaning and harsh tone and mannerism said yes and that he was aware of the problem and walked away and didn't engage in conversation with me was very rude and very Unbecoming especially working in the service industry like this, I didn't feel too satisfied with this so I went back to the manager to tell her about it and she basically dismissed my concerns and shrugged your shoulders to me I then turned and told her I guess I'm done shopping in the store and her response was I guess that's fine definitely do not see how they can manage to stay in business with attitude towards customers like that.

This evening I went into iga to pick up a few things for dinner. Waiting at deli only to be told the only clerk was on break. I get the need for breaks but at dinner time when it's.busy ..Not impressed.

Great Friendly Staff. Lotsa smiles. Small meat dept, but plenty to choose from. Mostly fresh cuts. Seafood and other options available. In store Deli, prepared meals, ready made salads and coleslaw etc. Barbecue chicken by piece or whole. Deep fried as well. Fair prices on most items. Medium sized Produce section.

I give it 3 stars because I love the selection and usually they are pretty good.
However we went to the meat deli today. The person assisting us had no clue which meat was which, and also didn’t take the coating of the meat before cutting it and we had to to individually take it off each slice. Not to mention how badly it was handled and folded in half. I understand that, some people may be in training, it still then falls to the person training them. Customer service seems to be getting worst and worst.

Great store, helpful pleasant staff.
But please teach your staff about hygiene. Coughing into your hand, then touching/bagging people’s food is barbaric..especially during these times. Sorry, but not OK.
