We finally tried out this ice cream shop on a whim. Went in to ask about their nut and gluten free. The shop is 100% gluten free and nut free. Even the ice cream sandwiches and wafer cookies. We were blown away. Hopefully they advertise that more in the future. But here I am helping them out.

Put this on your schedule the first day of your visit to Canmore so you can come back every day. There are many taste treats in the area, but none compare with Lovely. Four of us had four different items -- ice cream sandwiches with brownies stuffed with vanilla ice cream studded with caramel bits or chocolate chip cookies hugging the most amazing espresso ice cream ever! And simple cups of ice cream with clear, bright, focused flavors just take your breath away! We can't wait until tomorrow when we can come back!

This is by far the best ice cream I've ever had. I don't know how they do it but the caramel bits in the ice cream are chewy, The brownie on the sandwich is delicious and also chewy. It seriously blew my mind. I need one in the United States. We came here twice already and will definitely come back again!

Lovely lives up to its name—people and product. I tried to sample the entire menu over the three days I was in Canmore, but alas. Too much ice cream, too little time. The ice cream sandwiches are decadent, especially the brownie (chocoholics, take note). I also had the good fortune of trying the tiramisu and it was light, creamy and delicious (they make the marscapone in house!) The espresso is outstanding, in the form of an affogato or an Americano.
It’s clear that Lovely is a labour of love and dedication to a one-of-a-kind fresh and all-natural product. Bravo to the creator and owner Conor, who has created something truly unique!

I visited this place recently after being recommended by a restaurant owner. I must say every flavor I tried was amazing and made it difficult to choose. Loved the Jupiter flavor and tried it with a mix of blueberry and custard scoop . Perfect place to spend time after dinner and seating outside. The staff were very helpful and assisted with all the queries . This would be my another go to place when I am visiting Canmore in the future.

Great ice cream. I had the chocolate chip ice cream sandwich and it was delicious. It was especially nice that when I paid I was not prompted to leave a tip.
