Very good company somewhat caught up with the performance with the raven 556 only complaints I’ve been hearing is with the gen 1 top charging a handle but their gen 2’s are being developed as of writing this review. But there’s 2 key issue I’m seeing with the company that I see a good amount of customers have is-> CUSTOMER TRANSPARENCY <—, and —>“UP TO DATE” <—updates to customers, and I say this cause initially my raven was meant to come in 5-6 weeks from the day of my order but took 9-10 weeks where I had no issues but many other customers didn’t like that since many would be emailing or messaging without any update of their orders of the raven 556. along with a lack of an update of the delay just zero emails and update only until December 12 2023 where they emailed to customers that only had to make some hand guards for the ravens to be finally ship then around 3 business I finally get my raven. If the company simply resolve their issue with transparency and updates for customers it be perfect. I do know what I’m assuming how the company is manage would be a huge resource to do that especially on how many people are buying the raven it be difficult but when the company gets bigger this is the main issues most customers are facing and I even see it in the reviews where people would order something customer complains cause order didn’t come in and Lockhart has to respond with an apology of why their order didn’t send. But other than this rant everything is really good don’t make this a reason to shy away in due time this will likely be resolved considering how fast the company is growing and catching wind of people wanting a raven explains the massive delay of shipping of raven rifles I’ve had no issues with my raven roughly 500 rounds at the moment (I know it’s not 1000 but from what I’ve been hearing nothing bad so far from other peoples ravens)

I'm a shooting instructor here in Quebec and my firearms shoot a lot of ammo in a year. Since the ban on AR15 I've been using many different type of semi-auto rifle for my clients but they never last. I need to buy new ones every year.

After lots of research on the web, I ordered the Raven 556 Silver from Lockhart Tactical and wow !!!! I'm really impressed so far and so are my clients and fellow club members. We've shot over 800 rounds within the last 2 weeks and we did not get one malfunction. The amazing part is that I didn't clean the rifle when I got it (or oiled it) and did not clean it to this date. This Raven is one sexy firearm (I got the Northern Lights color) and if you're like me and you've been shooting AR your whole life, I promise you won't be sorry getting a beautiful Raven.

The Raven 5.56 that I received was a 10 out 10.
Over all condition was perfect. and after taking it to my range and firing 300 round for its first time out was flawless.
Customer service was the problem. They projected a feeling of talking down.Giving me the impression that they didn’t what nor need to take my call or email or text. ( my initial call was to add more items to my order ) and to confirm that my added item would be install on the raven. FYI they said yes we received your added orders and they would be add. ( they were not lol)all good.
It’s unfortunate that after spending $3800.00 plus on this amazing riffle that I feel that it not worth calling or ask for help on additional item. Because of this I ordered the wrong item. I wanted the dust door with out knowing that I order the dust cover that prevent me for utilizing the left charging handle.
Lock hart you have a great product!!!
If you can improve your customer service you would be unstoppable.
As a tech in the unionized film and television industry you lost me due to lack or empathy and giving me a feeling of don’t call us.
Concerning the dust door I’ll just be satisfied that I don’t have one and move forward with out.
One last thing. Your manufacturing crew did a fantastic job. 10 out of 10 they deserve 5 stars

For now 3 out of 5 because I have NOT fired my raven 5.56 I changed it to look like my work rifle to get the best practice & close as possible to a colt c8 16 inch, however this 18 inch will have to do (because of politics NOT lockhart), placed my iron sights on it just like work, the feel quality is a 5/5, charging handle gen 2 feels amazing,
The downfall was waiting for the rifle which is kinda understood based off amount of customers, the high demand, they also have personal lives and family which you gotta respect, lockhart respects law enforcement for any Law enforcement person looking for an alternative rifle to train practice off duty time....this may very well be the one....can't wait to shoot this thing at the range and I can change this to a 4/5 or 5/5 to be determined,

Raven Rifle was sent out to me quickly considering the wait time, shoots like a dream. Pushing out to 600m with it so far, couple hundred rounds in. If you've got the cash these rifles are unmatched by any other Canadian maker

Hopefully their firearms are better than their service. Impossible to communicate with. Ridiculous timelines that still weren’t obtained. Something that was “in stock” when I ordered it that had a potential 12-16 week timeline for delivery seems odd. Paid 100% upfront with little communication. Only responses I received were that they expected to ship before the 12 week mark. We are now at the 12 week mark and it’s still not shipped. There is a lot of room for improvement on the customer side of things. Last communication I received was that they were cutting receivers which was the only thing left for my order. It was “in stock” when I ordered it…

Received my order, but was very disappointed in the condition of the shipment. The repair kit that I ordered was jammed into a box and broken open, parts scattered all over the box. The box was not sealed on the bottom and not sure what parts are missing, guess I`ll find out when I look for a certain part. I have attached photos of the condition of the shipment. Very poor job of packing.
After talking to Sam at Lockhart, I have changed the low review that I gave them to a better one. He really offered to do whatever he could to rectify the problem. So I will give them a 5 star effort to correct the problem.
