Really nice fresh, canned, and dry goods store sourced locally. We got fantastic wildcrafted chanterelle mushroom rub for grilling, local ketchup, lettuce, coffee, cucumbers, and dried apples and apricots all from the Okanagan. This place is a must shop if you want the highest quality foods made with love.

Every time I go in I'm blown away, the staff is so kind and helpful, as well as quite knowledgable. The products are seriously incredible and there's quite a lot there considering the size, the first time I went I tried a few of the candies and they were amazing and slowly started to buy my produce there, and always pick up a bag of the sour cherry gummies (when they're in stock) they're vegan and genuinely better than any other gummy! And their produce is quite affordable and much better for you too! I can't wait to come back more ♥️

Epic fail!
I have been trying to encourage my baby boomer mother to reduce her contribution to garbage packaging for some time. We're often on the road & I always seek out places that support bulk filling. We're in Osoyoos atm & I asked my mom to stop & fill up my laundry soap bottle while she was in Penticton at Localmotive.
She was fairly upset that she paid more for 1/2 a jug than I had paid for the full jug brand new!!!

Oliver has a family owned, price friendlier place on main street & they've got all you need & more.

LocalMotive is a game changer! Our favourite products so far are the laundry strips (no more plastic jugs, or chemicals and fake fragrances!!), dryer sheets, 10lb boxes of blueberries (we go through a lot), fresh apple cider vinegar, and the all natural toothpaste in a jar (currently using the Grasshopper Goo and loving it). This store is fantastic and we recommend everyone check it out and try a few new *low waste* and local products!

A must visit - great locally sourced produce and food products with an emphasis on low waste. I found my favourite yogurt (Jerseyland, high fat and delicious) available in glass jars - now I don’t have to toss out plastic containers after every yogurt I buy. They will clean and re-use the jars. Farm fresh eggs, veggie plants you can grow, and lots of other awesome local products I noticed there. Will definitely be back, it’s wonderful to see a store like this in Penticton.

Really friendly staff, got some great selection of items. Does not carry everything you would need from day to day basis. Got great selection of dairy, local and outsourced fruit and vegetables (most organic).

Got great selection of bulk as well. Nuts, tea, candy and more.
