The Lionheart a have a regular Fresh Food Market popup at the YMCA in Kingston every Friday, from 9:30 to 12:30. In the colder months, the popup is located inside the building, but when we see grass, we can spot the tents.

The produce is lovely and at a fraction of the price compared to grocery stores. Selection depends on what's available at their vendors.

Don't miss out on their prepared foods! Their jams and soups are lovely, but my fave new find is their apple chutney. Not only is it vegan, it goes on just about anything from sandwiches to eggs, samosas or chicken

Final stop on the United Way Seeing is Believing Bus Tour. This organization is truly astounding. The amount of food they rescue and redistribute to other organizations is a monumental task. Volunteer run and supplied by companies like Amazon and Costco, they provide food and home supplies for countless people in the Kingston area.

I cannot begin to describe the impact this organization has made and continues to make in Kingston and surrounding areas. It is a true pleasure to work so closely with the dozens of volunteers that pour out their hearts and souls to serve so many people in so many ways.
