Overall: The location is phenomenal!! The room I stayed in was clean, bright, and extremely comfortable. Amazing view of the mountains. Hotel staff was friendly. But I do not think I would return to this hotel due to lack of privacy – as a tip to management, you should not place guests in rooms directly adjacent to active maintenance. And if you have to place guests in these rooms, then maybe offer a discount or a perk. I didn't have a warning for most of the negatives and communication would have helped.

Negatives – as woman traveling alone, and it was distressing to wake up to men directly outside of my window. Of course they were just doing maintenance work on the balcony, but I wasn't aware of it and it was not a comfortable environment with strangers donning blow torches outside my room (every day of my visit). I wanted to open my window for fresh air, but there was burning tar outside. I couldn’t open my blinds without making eye contact with a stranger. I don’t understand why they are booking guests in rooms on the second floor balcony while they are repairing the second floor balcony. On my last day, maintenance asked if they could come into my room to replace the air filter. I said I'd prefer them not to because I was in a meeting but they insisted they had to. I was checking out in less than 24 hours, why couldn’t they replace the filter tomorrow when the room was unoccupied? I can’t imagine needing to specify this, but for solo women its uncomfortable to have strangers outside my window and inside my room, the hotel should make effort to ensure guest privacy. Other minor negatives – the water in the shower was cold 3/4 days. That was a bummer, even Motel 6 has hot water. The hot tub was closed 2/4 days. The blinds in the bedroom wouldn’t open above knee height - I understand that prevents guests from flashing passersby, but I would recommend blinds that lower from the top so that there is still the ability to use the window.

This is the perfect place for snowboarding and skiing enthusiasts. You are only steps away from the Blackcomb Gondola. Plus, it is only about a 15 minute walk (at least for me) to get to Whistler Village for shopping and dining. There are plenty of dining and imbibing options closer, including the Fairmont Whistler, which is across the walkway and has fantastic sandwiches and coffees. Our unit was on the second floor and faced another building, therefore, we did not enjoy a view (unit 213). However, our friends have a unit on the fourth floor and we spent our down time in their unit. Our unit was quite spacious and comfortable for a couple. The bed was comfortable, memory foam bed, I believe. WiFi was spotty. However, we really didn't need it. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We are planning to return, however, we are going to try to book on the fourth floor and get a room with a view of the mountain.

The location is perfect, facing the gondola. Room is clean.

Give 2-star to the service:
When I checked in, the front desk had my car plate number, and I was told that parking is not free, but I could enjoy the guest rate of $25 per day, which's fine. However, I was shocked when I was issued a parking ticket during check out. What the front desk failed to tell me is that the parking garage is outsourced to a 3rd party company, which requires parking paid upfront, while I thought the parking would be included in the final invoice paid during checking out, otherwise what's the point of having my car's plate number and my credit card. I ended up paying the penalty which gave bad taste to the otherwise happy vacation.

Future guests beware, pay the parking through the meters and put the receipt on your car's dashboard, or you will be surprised by the hefty parking penalty. Parking enforcements are everywhere in that town; that's the best position for their workforce to contribute value to society. The hotel should fully communicate the arrangement with the guests to void misunderstandings.

The location was great. Skiing was made easy with the gondola a short distance away. They had ski valet which is nice. The room 404 however is mediocre at best. The chairs have old stains, my shower towel had hair in it, the shower grout had a lot of mold, and the other shower's shower curtain had pink stinky mold all over the bottom. They get enough money to at least switch out/wash the shower curtains. You get a small trash bin and apparently when you fill them up you're to take it out to the trash shoot yourself. The drinking glasses were pretty thin they would break easily just tapping the side of the sink. At the end of the week, I grew to really like the location and view that I would stay near here again but definitely try another place.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Le Chamois by Whistler Premier. Due to an urgent health issue, I had to cancel/reschedule my reservation more than 48 hours before the scheduled check-in time. Despite this, the hotel refused to offer a refund or even a travel credit, citing their strict policy.||I reached out multiple times, hoping for some understanding given the circumstances, but the management was unresponsive and inflexible. Their lack of empathy and unwillingness to accommodate a genuine emergency was truly disheartening.||I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values customer service and flexibility. There are many other options in Whistler that are more accommodating and understanding.

Although the location is good near lifts and the Fairmont the Chamois need a serious Reno. We stayed in room 301 and it’s definitely in need of a serious refresh. The hallways and rooms haven’t been updated in 20 plus years. Our room also smelled stale and stuffy. I would not stay here again.
