Great Asian grocery store with a huge variety of fresh, frozen and canned/packaged Asian foods/groceries. Added bonus is that they also offer great tasting bubble teas in an impressive variety. The store is family run and the owners are locals, so by shopping here you are supporting your fellow Kingstonians and the community. The store is well organized and clean. They also have Chinese BBQ if you are early enough to get it before it sells out (and it sells out quickly because it's so fresh and tasty). Highly recommend.

First and last time for bubble tea.

Short story : Lady nice but hard communication and gross tapioca.

Long story :

Went there for a bubble tea. I ask the cashier for a "Ice Crush" or something like that from the menu (I dont recall exactly) The lady told me "I have smooties" which confuse me, I said again. I want two Ice Crush, one mango, one peach. She repeat again "I have smoothie". I was like "Do you have a bubble tea made out of juice" she said no, that "she have smooties". I was like ok then "two smooties with tapioca one peach one mango" . Then look at me and said "Is it ok if I add strawberry bubble instead of tapioca for one I made two already".
Communication was so complicated I said yes to anything. Just wanna my whatever drink and left.

She finnally gave me two smoothies mango with tapioca. The tapioca was gross, hard, cold with a super bad after taste. I dont know how they made their smoothies but wasnt real fruit or juice fruit. Imagine paid 13$ + tips. For smoothies made out of powder? with the worse tapioca of your life.

Those bubble tea worth 1 star, but the lady was nice and the grocery seems to have great product for sale. So, I dont wanna rate this place to harsh from my bad experience.

Great little shop that's packed with a wide selection. My favourite thing is that they have a walk in fridge with fresh stuff that they get from (I think) Toronto weekly. Lots of frozen options too. They have like 6 fridges filled with stuff. Really nice staff and very friendly. A great option for those who live in the west end and don't want to go all the way downtown for asian stuff.

My wife loves the shop, every time we're in Kingston we stop by for our Asian needs. Prices are competitive to T&T but closer for our small needs. If you like bubble tea, they also have a variety of such.

Great place with some selection of Asian groceries. Price is good and the owner is welcoming and friendly. However, the tapioca in their bubble tea is not as good, it’s hard as a stone and is not cooked throughly. Otherwise, would recommend.

Very extensive selection but prices are rather high - example: coconut milk $3.49 - $1.99 at Basics. The person who complained that an item was 50% off because it was "expired" does not have a clue. All products sold in Canada MUST have an expiry/best before date (usually max. 3 years). Liquids or meat products beware of expiry dates, dry noodles, sweets etc means very little. So being "safe" depends on the product. So buy your 50% off cookies and don't worry.
