Extremely disappointing experience. I walked into this store and greeted the owner politely, but received no response whatsoever — no eye contact, no acknowledgment. When I went to pay, I noticed the amount charged was $0.20 more than what was shown on the machine. I politely asked about the discrepancy, and instead of a reasonable explanation, the owner mocked me, made discriminatory remarks, and even used offensive language, calling me “stupid” in Chinese.

This kind of disrespectful and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. No customer deserves to be treated this way. I strongly advise others to avoid this store. There are many other businesses where you’ll be treated with basic courtesy and respect.

They have a wide range of specialty foods. You can find snacks with unique flavors, teas, dried mushrooms, vegetables, noodles, meats, spices, dimsum, and much more. They even have a hot buffet at the back, like the delicious mini sausages, Korean-style beef bone and more waiting to be devoured. This is a family-run store and they offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere that you won't forget. If you haven't visited Kingdou yet, I highly recommend that you do!

This store is a good spot for buying Asian snacks and pantry items that are hard to find in the city. It's well-stocked and organized, making shopping easy. I bought cheesy tteokbokki and dumplings, and both were delicious. I'll definitely be coming back.

I apologize for the quality of the review's writing, I'm drunk. This place is simply great. The staff is super polite, no problems happen as long as you cause no trouble. The products are good (but lean more towards cooking products...) I like their snacks. But seriously, the place is great, just be aware of cultural differences (such as difference between production date/best before date) when you enter the store.

Saw the sign, had some time to spare, so popped in. A really cool Asian market in New sudbury. I do not speak of write the language but still prompted my friend and I to buy a random item each. It was very interesting to see what options were available. Staff was super friendly!

I was just a tad disappointed by the snack options but overall just a nice stop. The fella running the place is very sweet and I can easily find ingredients for Asian dishes here that I can't find in my local grocery store
